We recently celebrated a friend's birthday at this fine dining-restaurant in Crystal City. Our dining experience was excellent! The food was terrific. The oysters were fresh, the main course was divine, and the desserts were delightful. Our server was fantastic and knowledgeable about the menu, and we loved everything he suggested. We plan to return to try other dishes when we are in the area. We can't wait!

This was and by far has been one of the most pleasant restaurant visits I've had in awhile and I owe that to the bartender Milagros. She was amazing from the time I sat down to the time I got up. The drink she recommended was mixed perfectly and her attentiveness even when she got busy was on point. And when I say attentive I mean she read the room perfectly. Each guest had their own personal experience with her as she conversed and took drink/food orders. The end of the meal surprise bday dessert made my day and will always be remembered. I'll definitely be back and want to thank her for being an amazing bartender and exceptional person!!!

I met some friends for dinner. This was my first time to visit this restaurant. It was. To do overall experience was not worth the price point. The value wasn’t there. One thing I’ve read in the other reviews is that the service was substandard. I would agree. It took multiple trips and raiders for our server to bring my wine. And, she never brought the clam chowder. At the end of the meal, we had to remind her that she never brought it. Of course, she apologized, boxed it up and did not charge us. But, I think this is a systemic issue for this restaurant. They must refuse to hire enough, qualified people to serve the number of people who visit and dine there. To me, if you refuse to make changes to what I now think are valid complaints, you probably don’t deserve my business. Businesses need to read and take reviews seriously. I ordered a sirloin steak. I ordered it rare. It was more on the side of medium rare. But, it was very grizzly and hard to cut. Again, their price point makes you think you’re going to get something really good. Now, I understand that if you want really good steak, a sirloin is probably not the first choice. But, I I feel like ordering a sirloin gives me a good idea of what kind of quality chef and preparation a restaurant have. The mashed potatoes were very good. They were quite tasty. We also ordered a couple of appetizers, the kisses shrimp and raw oysters. The shrimp were delicia. And, the oysters were also very good. No complaints. My advice, hire more servers. Your reviews support this. And, be certain to select the best meat of you are going to charge at this price point.

03.2024 My husband brought me here for my birthday. The atmosphere was pleasant with dimmed lighting and music (not loud). The food was ok. Some dishes were better than others. The Crispy Asian Calamari was amazing, not greasy and crisp. The Shrimp Kisses were good, the seasoning was on point. The steak had to be recooked to medium well not well done. It tasted better at medium well. The lobster was over cooked. The lobster mash potatoes lacked taste and seasoning. The Casino Mahi Mahi was delicious!!!😋 The blistered brussel sprouts were okay; needed more seasoning. The service we received was sub par. Our waitress seemed discombobulated but her personality was nice. In the beginning, there seemed to be confusion on who was assigned our waiter…we think that threw our waitress of her usual routine. Overall, my experience was okay. I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this location.

I recently went here two nights in a row, first night alone and second night with my daughter. The food was exceptional and my server even better. His name was AJ. He knew the menu and how the food was prepared. Night 1 - I wanted to take my time and enjoy a glass of wine, AJ recognized this. About 3/4 through my glass of wine I ordered, Oysters Rockefeller (4), New England Clam Chowder, Caesar Salad and Halibut. AJ informed me that The oysters would be prepared fresh and asked if it was ok to bring chowder out first; that showed me he also knew about the food preparation. The chowder had plenty of clams and was creamy and delicious. The oysters were so good with a grilled and smoke flavor that was so flavorful. The Caesar salad was bland, maybe a little watery but I enjoyed it. The halibut was out of this world served with fried redskin potatoes and small peas with a slight purée. No room for desert. The next night we both ordered clam chowder, my daughter got fresh sea scallops (4) served with a risotto and the same peas I had the night before, all cooked to perfection. I changed it up a little and ordered the Seafood Alfredo (bay scallops & small shrimp). I was delicious and not overly rich (good thing). I asked for AJ and again he made the night special, recognized my daughter, and his service was impeccable! Thank you.
