Maryland Fried Chicken
What people are saying
This is by far my worst experience in Albany !! I lived down here in December and finally decided to try it and this was trash. Mashed potatoes was thin and tasted like plain water, chicken was hard and look like they just fried it with no breading. A slice of light bread was given and the potatoe salad I had tasted store bought and nasty. I work in the food business and I can let a lot of stuff go but I will never go back this was my first and last time ever going. The lady at the window was super nice and awesome. That’s why it gets 1 star , my husband strips looked like thin pieces of chicken that just fell off and I didn’t even get my fries. 30$ gone wasted. I trashed it all and wasted my money.
I'm TELLING Y'ALL NOW DON'T GO HERE THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF!!!! I went here and ordered a mild strip dinner I waited in line 25 minutes I tried to get out the line but I was blocked in so when I finally got my food it was cold nasty and no where near worth the price they charged me $12 for 5 extra small overcooked day old textured cold chicken pinkys because those are not strips the tots and strips are the same size I got 10 tots 5 small strips and slaw for $12 no drink no bread or nothing do not go here this place needs to be closed down ASAP because this is just ridiculous trust me it's nasty the food is cold overpriced and just ridiculous I'll never go here again no sir!!!! 🗑️🚮🤢🤮🤮
Ordered livers. Got livers and gizzards. Use to go here twice a week. No more. Ordered biscuits. Got home no biscuits. Called said don't have any so told come get refund then. Got there man said give a few minutes and he would fix some. 20 minutes later got them to give biscuits and we finish cooking at home. Got home biscuits not even start to cook. Still cold. Done.
Food was terrible! It’s was hard and tasted old. Plus my strip meal was very small. Noting like the Maryland I used to love when I was in college. Not worth the money AT ALL!!
The highs: The best part of the meal was the fish! Ordered the grouper and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My group ordered tilapia and no complaints there also. Customer service was very nice and staff was inviting. Loved the opening to the kitchen where you could watch your food being cooked. The lows: The building was old and inside desperately needed some repairs (the ceiling tiles that were probably as old as the town). The sides were mostly a miss. Potato salad unknowingly tasted as if it contained meat. Baked beans were actually pork and beans and the fries were fries. Overall review: Good.
