Martini
What people are saying
The bartender was awful. He was NOT friendly. Looked like he rolled out of bed. Asked for a few drinks and he was out of everything. I was sitting at bar with my friend and My underage 11 year old daughter walked up behind me to hand me my phone charger and ask me a quick question all while standing in open area not sitting at bar and bartender yelled at me and said she is not allowed to be here. I told him she was handing me a cord and wasn’t staying. He did not care. Never will we go back to that bar. Went down escalator to a different bar/ restaurant and they were amazing and seats all full.
The bartender at this bar was awful. The bartender working this bar on 7/14/2024 at approximately 12:30pm was extremely rude and not welcoming. I sat at a table with my food with the intention of buying a drink. Instead of greeting me by saying, Hello! Welcome to the martini bar how can I assist you today. He approached the table and sarcastically asked me if I wanted something his tone was a turn off. I decided I didn’t want anything from the menu based on his initial greeting so he proceeded to tell me then I can’t sit at the table and finish my food and kicked me out of the resturaunt. I highly recommend patronizing this bar if you enjoy poor customer service and a bartender with a bitter attitude.
I usually try to stop here when passing through BWI, because the cocktails are among some of the best I've had. My most recent visit was no exception as far as my drink (the Baltimore Cosmo) was concerned, but it was especially nice because the bartender, Khadijah, was very friendly and a good conversationalist. She helped the wait for my flight pass quickly!
I encountered the worst experience I’ve ever received at a bar. The woman working here was extremely negative and rude. I walked up to the bar at the same time as a couple. We sat down together and began talking because the woman and I instantly clicked. The bartender yelled from where she was standing on the other side of the bar “you got IDs?” She didn’t greet us outside of this. She seemed miserable and rude. Regardless, we all responded yes and got our IDs out. She came over to us to take our order. I ordered water to start. I planned to drink some sort of juice or other drink afterwards. The bartender said I couldn’t sit there if I ordered water. I told her I planned to pay for my drinks and tip, but she said “that’s not how this works. You can’t sit here.” I got out $5 and handed to her as I was happy to pay for service. She refused to take the money and said she would not provide service to me and instructed me to leave. I left the cash for the couple sitting next to me and left.
I understand having a hard day, but I do not understand being rude to customers right off the bat. I simply asked her what time they closed and was greeted w/hostility. After that interaction, I didn’t even care to look at the menu.
