I have long overlooked the cruddy customer service and lack of professionalism at the market, the too high prices, the chronically broken POS, the freezer burnt old icecream, the subtle, odd smell that affronts your nose when you walk in, but today they sold me moldy product and that’s not cool. Also, the smell was so bad this weekend (permeates your clothes level) like moldy onions en masse that I am now worried that’s overdate food in the kitchen they’re trying to serve to people.
My girlfriend moved in right across the street in the Askew Apartments I absolutely love the way the store looks and feels Scott that original look about it the food is great and staff are friendly. Got a BLT with an egg on it today
Great small grocery/convenience store with a nice selections of beer and wine. The food they serve is also quite good. The BBQ pulled pork sandwich is amazing! It is continuing to be developed (they just opened a patio area and there is talk of putting in an actual bar). I hope this place continues to get more awesome and wish this locally owned business every success!
Really like this little deli and market I just discovered near my new office. They keep a fresh salad bar and make hot or cold sandwiches, in addition to keeping in stock a few staple items you'd otherwise have to find a full fledged grocery store to find. Their in-stock inventory is pretty slim though. Highly recommended for a quick, reasonably priced lunch, though.
Extremely over priced for basic groceries and would recommend not going unless you absolutely need too. Breakfast sandwhiches are decent, but also overly priced when you can walk to the market to get better and cheaper food. They also require a mask and if you forgot one, you must purchase one for $3, keep in mind these are the masks typically handed out for free anywhere else. This place will do anything to make an extra dollar.
