Good selection of Asian ingredients packed into this small store. Has a little bit of everything. Great frozen and frozen seafood selection in back, an entire area lined with freezers. Good prices. On weekends has nice selection of fresh Asian vegetables. Clean store. Very nice older lady runs it. You knock on the door a she'll buzz you in. Necessary due to area and running store by self often at night. Open evening after 5pm and days on weekends. Great selection of spices and bottle ingredients for Asian cuisine.
Mrs Mai was so sweet and friendly. She gave me free trial yogurt. Its great, I bought a whole box. She said every Friday the store have a lot of new stuffs.
Mai's Store offers a great selection at good prices: sauces, noodles, tapioca pearls, teas, broth mixes, snacks, and more including fresh baked goods. They also sell the spiciest ramen style noodle mix I ever found.
I called About 8:00pm to make sure they was still open. A man answered and said yes they were open till 10pm. I get there Walk to the door a lady rushes to the door and locks it and say they are closed. I pointed out the big open sign and the lights she flip the sign to say closed. So I just went to Dave's next-door. As I leave Dave's I drive past and noticed she flipped her sign back to open! I guess was my skin must not be the right color to shop there!! I hope in the future they can learn tolerance for others. I'm throwing a birthday party for my sister I wanted to make sure the food at her party is authentic. I ended up spending $184.36 at another asian style store on food and supplies to ensure my food was authentic for the party Guest! I hope you guys learn how to treat people!
I wish the store was open more in the day time and I wish that of we asked what something was they didn't treat us like we didn't belong because we're American don't get me wrong they have amazing prices but don't be shocked of someone American gets skipped in line for an Asian person that happened to me and I felt unwelcomed being there
