Good food and good service. Didn’t experience the unfriendly waitress others posted about. My waitress (Joann) was older, but she was very friendly and attentive. I had The Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich. It came without bacon, as I requested, and it was good. It would’ve been even better if the hash browns were cooked more. I’d come here again if I’m in the area.

Only giving two stars because food is good, but not good enough for attitude I got just because I didn’t tip with my TO GO order. The tipping culture has gotten WAY out of hand, it is ridiculous to expect a tip when you are not WAITING on me in a dine-in experience. Snatching the receipt and completely changing your tone with me was very immature and I understand why I was your “only to go order” that you had with zero customers in your dining room. Have a little more hospitality and compassion. I’m not about to empty my pockets tipping everyone who hands me food I PAID for. A little self-reflection and a change in attitude would help the atmosphere and service of this place immensely.

Unless your thing is to be rudely greeted and treated poorly at 8am, I would suggest avoiding this place. My family of 11 decided to go eat at the lunchbox on the first morning of our vacation. Having previously eaten at this establishment 5 years ago on another vacation, we thought it would be as good as it was before. Upon entering the building we noticed that it was completely empty. My grandmother told the older lady in the front that we had 11 people and were willing to split up at different tables if that was easier. The waitress then proceeded to tell my grandma to "chill out" in a very rude manner. I don't believe there was any reason for the waitress to have been rude to us as we were only being kind and offering them some buisness as well. After the waitress gave us few too many menus, we didn't complain or ask for another. Instead she realized her mistake and threw the 4th menu down on the table, this time in front of my mother. I don't know what we did to insight this hostile behavior that morning but its safe to say we will not be returning. We saw the reviews and decided to give them the benefit if the doubt but after going there we realized that every bad review you see on here is 100% correct. From what we experienced, there were people around us looking confused and one man even left after arriving. This specific waitress was rude to the women in our party and seemed to have no patience for the kids as well. At least the food was pretty good....

This place has amazing cherry almond pancakes and is a cute little breakfast joint! However, it is true the owner/waitress who works there is very curt and can be very rude. We spend a lot of time in this area spring through fall and her attitude is the same, so it's not just a bad day, being short staffed, or a group of rude customers. Unfortunately, we now avoid this place because the grumpy attitude is not how we want to start our day. Then again, if you are looking for someone to verbally fight with or can ignore the attitude, this place might be for you, and it comes with pancakes!
