Lufthansa Business Lounge
What people are saying
Conclusion first: like a dungeon with no loot, just shadows and broken promises. The Lufthansa Senator and Business Lounge at Dulles feels more like a forgotten outpost than a sanctuary for weary adventurers. You’d expect comfort and elegance befitting a seasoned traveler – instead, you get stale ambiance and uninspired offerings. The food? A sad little quest of lukewarm mini-portions. Drinks? More village tavern than royal banquet. There are plenty of seats, sure, but comfort levels rank somewhere between “wooden stool” and “stone bench.” The Wi-Fi crawls slower than a cursed snail under a debuff. Even the staff seemed bound by the ancient spell of apathy, offering service as cold as the soup. Verdict: This lounge is less “rest and recover” and more “survive and escape.” Bring your own potions – you won’t find much magic here.
Quiet, comfortable, with impressive protein and drink options. The chicken and mushrooms in the hot buffet section were perfectly cooked. The visit exceeded my expectations!
Everything is very outdated, old and dirty (walls and carpet) The staff is nice and friendly. The room is very cluttered and most of the time that I have spent here, was overcrowded! It is to be renovated and updated! By far the ugliest Lufthansa lounge I’ve ever been in!
First time visit, because they only open after noon. Received greetings from one of the two staff upon walking in. For the Priority Pass patrons, we were directed to the Business Lounge downstairs. The food choices were limited, but still have both cold and hot dishes. A few choices for snacks and desserts, but only apples for fruits. Offered both hot and cold beverages. Across the hallway, there was a full bar below stairs.
The lounge is divided into an upstairs Senator and a downstairs Business section. Priority pass holders get to use the downstairs area. The downstairs has a wide seating area with a bar at one corner and the food section at the other. The bar has several choices of German beer, wine and alcohol. The beer on tap was fresh and refreshing. The cold food section has two vegetarian salad choices and a ham and cheese sandwich. The hot section had three vegetarian options and a chicken sausage stew. The food was all delicious. The service was excellent. The only negative was the lack of windows which makes the space dark. Shower area and clean bathrooms. All in all great spot while waiting for your flight.
