Great park with unique layout. We came just for the infant tandem swings!
The park has been remodeled since the Google pictures were taken and the ballfield is now a playground. This is a much better use of the space and will benefit more kids. (History: the railroad once came down MLKJ Drive and curved around this location and to the northwest, but that was many years ago)
Great playground with lots of different slides and climbing equipment. There's a field to play ball in and swings. Ample parking, a couple covered picnic table areas and there's a pool and splash pad in the summer for a small fee.
Went to a beautiful baby shower here today. The building is very modern and nicely decorated. It has a great kitchen and bathrooms. There were about 60-70 people in attendance. The room looked as of it could handle a100 people easily. Plenty of parking was available and easily accessible by the handicapped. I wish that I could have taken more pictures, but it was so crowded and I did not want to violate people's privacy!
Enjoying the newly renovation of the park. The basketball courts are great. My daughter can practice on the well made surface and the goals are solid. Also usually it's not crowded and has enough goals that she can move freely.
