Love's Travel Stop
What people are saying
The Auto side pumps continue to decline in reliability. It has been years without maintenance/repairs of the pumps. Many pumps printers are not functional, several of them cannot scan the barcode of loyalty cards, and the credit card scanners keep failing. I don't understand why Love's Corporate is allowing this location to degrade so quickly after they built it, especially as it is on a international crossing route not too far from the border. This location has also proven vulnerable to power, internet, and water supply vulnerabilities, and they don't seem interested in investing in the backup systems to mitigate them. I've always found the staff to be wanting to help, and keeping the store clean. The problem seems to be either location management or corporate not maintaining equipment and investing in location uptime...
7/3/24 4:52 pm Rude, racist and unwelcoming. You don’t get a “welcome to loves of your black”. I walked in and looked the ladies right in their eyes then they looked away and continued their conversation. A few seconds later a white man walked in behind me and I heard “welcome to loves”. Then as I was checking out my items, they manager at the fuel desk was was rude and snobby. She’ll talk to you like you’re bothering her and just made me uncomfortable. I decided to just walk out and not get what I came into get. I will not spend my money where I’m not welcomed. Nor will I fell up here. I’m going to the loves down on 75 before you get to Monroe an hour and half away
Front desk lady on march 9-10 night was rude, disrespectful and asking payment for 2 napkins,2 paper bowls and a plastic fork. Which are for free at all loves, pilots and TAs for the drivers who fuel.she almost ran after me for the money.I spoke to my other driver freinds. They told me the same for this lady at front.I think she is a racisist.she shouldn't be at front desk.loves staff always nice to drivers but this lady is an exception.
there was a man in the womens restroom. he works at mcdonalds which does not have their own restroom. employees saw and did not say anything. do not let your kids in the restroom alone here!
Nice and shiny new Love's just off exit 176 at Capac Rd. Everything thus far is in perfect working order. It's the same layout of all the other modern Love's locations around the USA, so everything should look familiar to people that frequent these truck stops. This location has a huge parking lot, tire shop, and enough pumps to keep your wait to a minimum. There is some green space around the building near the car pumps, though I'm sure they'll get some grass growing around the truck lot soon.
