Lang Street Community Gardens
What people are saying
Such a nice garden! The fee is very reasonable and the half plots are more than enough for growing tons of food with space to spare for some herbs, flowers, etc. You can plant almost anything you'd like. I'm on my second year and think a half plot is perfect to support a 2-3 person household with delicious produce. The club supports its gardeners with fun events, a cut and come again communal herb & greens garden, tools, mulch, compost, seed exchanges, and many more invaluable resources. Everyone is very friendly, giving, and open, but you can socialize as much or as little as you'd like. They also have the option to donate extra crops (you will probably have a lot) to a local food bank, Arlington Food Assistance Center!
1st year gardener with the Glebe Garden Club. Very friendly, knowledgeable and community service-minded group of people. In the midst of covid this has been a very safe space to be in nature and grow some food.
My gardening place. Nice people and nice environment. Great location.
Not a friendly group and not safe after sunset
Lovely experience
