Fantastic location near the airport in a great community in San Bruno! There's tons of great food options nearby and even grocery stores. The hotel is well maintained, the staff is super friendly and the courtyard in the middle with the pool and workout room is super awesome. Very easy to get on the highway to get to any of the attractions in San Francisco. The room was good, albeit a bit dark (maybe some brighter lights). There's a fridge and microwave which makes it awesome for any leftovers you may bring during your trip. The included breakfast is an absolute gem, has options for everyone and even after 5 mornings I was still excited for it!

It’s a fine hotel overall and most of the staff is friendly. The $15 a day surcharge to park in Millbrae is ridiculous. Unload and walk 3 minutes across El Camino. My real beef is with housekeeping, which pains me to say because I know they’re overworked and underpaid. BUT. -I was sitting on the bed at 8 am and the housekeeper came in without knocking, announcing herself or waiting to see if anyone was in the room. -The iron in my room was broken. I left it next to a note that said it didn’t work in English and Spanish. It was just put back on the wall. -I left a large dog bed (in good, generally clean condition) behind. I tried to call 3 times that same day to flag it for lost and found and they never picked up. When I finally go in person, just 3 days after I checked out, I am told housekeeping threw it away. An entire dog bed that was clearly not trash. I’m assuming corporate has cut costs here like all major hotels. It shows, and it makes me wonder what else isn’t getting done properly. Breakfast was good though. And the prices at their little convenience store are shockingly reasonable.

To start, I'm a female solo traveler. This hotel is by no means fancy but my room was good enough. I had a king-size to myself. Everything was clean upon arrival and I even got an early check-in at no fee which pleasantly surprised me and it was a relief because I took a red-eye flight and was looking forward to some proper rest. I never called for housekeeping because I'm by myself and I'm usually very clean so I can't comment on it. However, the staff are kind and never gave me any problems. There's a lock and a latch and it's key-card locked. I locked everything esp as a solo traveler and felt safe. Location: Amazing. Quiet residential neighborhood. I kind of got lost on my way back from a concert. It was literally 2 AM when I came back- no buses, phone was dead. I had no choice but to walk & while it was dark, it was empty. I wish it was more well-lit but I got to the hotel safely. As a female solo traveler, you really should avoid these situations but in the daytime, it's very much the same: quiet and empty. Lots of places to pick up food! I had Mike's Pizza, McD's, Trader Joe's, all great stuff. Bus stop is only a 5-10 min walk away. I love it so much. Amenities: Free sample shampoo/condi/lotion/body wash but if you're staying more than 4 nights then you need more lol. Kitchenette with lots of utensils, microwave, fridge, stove, coffeemaker. I made a lot of Cup Noodles. There's a little store at the front desk where I bought the noodles and soda, good prices. Aircon was working fine, I was perfectly cold lol. TV was a little wonky but worked most of the time. Wifi was good. Extra notes: Good breakfast options! Loved the juice, sausages, eggs and pastries. Room can get dark when you close doors & shades (which I like!). Thin-ish walls so sometimes you'll hear running or thuds but it was soft enough where it didn't bother me. There is $100 deposit but it was given back. No shuttle but BART station is close. Long review but this was my first time traveling alone and I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my money. Thank you for taking care of me, La Quinta.

Very nice hotel right next to the airport. However, the hotel no longer had a shuttle to SFO so if you are needing that, please call the hotel to confirm as they said they were working on getting another contract for an airport shuttle. Overall the hotel is a nice hotel, dated as would be expected and the sooner they get those carpets out of the hotels, the better. The manager addressed any issues I had promptly and satisfactorily.

The rooms were exactly what I expected for the price point. They were clean and reasonably well maintained. The pizza place across the street was an easy place to grab some dinner. The one thing I wish I would have known is that the other La Quinta location near the airport has a shuttle, but it was a quick Uber to the airport (about 10 minutes) at 7:30 AM and was approximately $20 before tip.
