Just checked in and our room is a disaster with unfinished maintenance work and stains and filth. The walls are dirty. There’s even used toilet paper on the bathroom wall. White stains on the couch. Stained bed sheets. The dresser won’t stay closed. The room door is so very loud when you open and close it. I’m sure the whole hallway hears when we leave and arrive despite how quiet we try to be. Cassandra, at the front desk was very understanding and compassionate. I appreciate Cassandra’s kindness and that’s why I left 4 stars instead of 1. Cassandra made our terrible experience with the hotel room a 5 star interaction.
First of all, Andy was the nicest!! The rest of the staff were awesome as well. The bathtub has non-slip stickers in it, y'all!!! I didn't fear for my life taking showers like at most hotels. Breakfast was meh but it was free, so who am I to complain? All around a great place to stay.
The entire hotel has a moldy smell to it. The ice machines were down. The washers needed to be updated. They don’t make change or have a coin machine. The breakfast was standard. Has a decent variety.
This place is very clean and people are very nice. But couldn't sleep at all for the blinding lights shining through the windows. Like leaving the light on. Couldn't believe they don't have blinds. Just shears over the window. We tries to block out the light but was no way. Won't ever stay here again. Can't believe they don't have blinds. Actually dresses and undressed in the dark cause was no privacy. Sleepless night
Booked a room this past Wednesday (01/17/24) while passing through Beeville and I must say that this was probably the best hotel that was in the area especially at a great price. The rooms were so clean, fresh, and stocked. The beds were a little too comfortable I couldn't help but not leave it haha. The Complimentary Breakfast the next morning was delicious and yes they have the Texas waffle maker for those who enjoy it. The employees were very helpful and knowledgeable about certain questions and the area. Will definitely come back sooner than expected!!
