Nice place. Staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and everything functions properly . It's pet friendly with a large grassy area outside the back door. We booked an executive room that was double size with plenty of room. We had a desk, sleeper sofa, and a recliner. The extra space was great.

I’m writing my review while in my room. The room has a smell, the chair in the room is dirty. The bathroom is awful. No plug to take a bath, no hot water. Looks like rust and calcium buildup around and in the tub. Walls are paper thin. Doors slamming. Internet is so slow and sometimes no WiFi. If I wasn’t so tired, I’d check out and go somewhere else . Tried calling the front desk at 10:30 no answer. I had problems with my key to the door. Sometimes it wanted to work and sometimes it doesn’t.

If you're looking for a reasonable place too flop for the night, this is the place. Our room had a shelf leaning against the wall and holes still not repaired. Also, the office type chair at the desk was in repair and sank when sat on, and the easy chair was equally uncomfortable and both were probably 20+ years old. Also, some of our family members said they had no hot water for their shower, while I found the plumbing ok. But, breakfast was available and we all enjoyed our meal.

I usually never write negative reviews, but unfortunately, this hotel has left me feeling disappointed. I would wish to always say good things about service.. In the case of this hotel, I have never felt more unwelcome in the town of Alice. To add to that, I would say that a room with a roof over its head is usually good enough for me, and I wouldn't complain...I strongly believe you should have a clean hotel experience. Always. I also believe that no matter if you're working in a hotel, any type of store, or a restuaunt, you treat the guest with kindness (especially when they were being kind to you) I was kind to a staff member this morning and was not met with kindness back. You would hope that in a hotel, you would feel like a welcomed guest, but I felt the complete opposite. I will probably never stay there again. Now the room itself probably could've been better. There was rust in the bathroom, mysterious stains on some of the walls near the bed.. the door in the bathroom appeared to have either been beaten off the hinges at one point, or maybe the rust made it seem like it could have fallen off at the top. The outlet by the bed was orange and looked like it was a hazard, it did spark but it was okay but still scary. The other outlet was shoved in the wall, and I was afraid I would get shocked if I tried to plug anything in that one, so I didn't. Didn't see any bugs...but I have a random bite on my inner thigh. Hopefully nothing will follow me home(bug wise). The chair they had for the mini office desk in the room was withered and worn a bit. And the couch that was provided had another mysterious stain... Maybe one day I'll visit again, but I'd rather stick to camping in my vehicle or sleepin in a hammock while on my travels. I hope yall have a good day.

Every time I'm in Alice, La Quinta is the place I go. Quiet, clean, great & helpful associates. It maybe a little older that the other hotels, but I've stayed I both. I come back to La Quinta, since it saves me money and I ern reward with Wyndham. They also serve breakfast!
