Knife and Fork Inn

The food was delicious and the service was amazing. I can't wait to go back again. Everything including the seafood steak and vegetables were all fresh and tempered well. There was a great presentation and everything was well portioned for the price. ..... I just got home from taking my father and mother out for Father's Day and had a lovely evening here. My father ate here for the first time when he was 5 years old. To come back for the first time in 64 years and to enjoy it all over again was a great treat to give him.
I do not give 5 stars easily at all but this meal was incredible. Firstly, always have to give good recognition to the staff, everyone was incredible service was amazing. For apps we got the raw oysters and colossal crabmeat cocktail. Both were so fresh. Cocktails were great too. For dinner we got the seared tuna which was cooked beautifully had a lot of great flavors. Also got the knife and fork inn dinner, it’s a combo- it includes the famous lobster thermidor which is really everything people brag about it’s delicious. Also comes with a corn chowder which we were crazy about so creamy and yummy, filet mignon also cooked perfectly. We got some carrots as a side which also were great. Dessert we tried the banana cream pie which we loved and their customer favorite which is the strawberry rhubarb crips. It’s pretty yummy (I liked banana cream pie) the interior is vintage and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend and the prices are very reasonable the food is excellent quality. Everything we tried we loved.
We were really looking forward to an old Atlantic City steakhouse experience. The food was really good. They have an extensive menu, but we thought the wait staff may have been new or needed to know more about their menu than how they came off. We started with the lobster spring rolls. I really thought they'd be like a Vietnamese cold spring roll, but they were a fried egg roll with maybe lobster sauce in them, but I couldn't taste the lobster. My wife got the braised short rib. It was very tender and very flavorful. We split the Brussel sprouts which had an amazing horseradish dip. I had the surf and turf. The filet minion was ordered medium rare and it came out perfect. The lobster tail was very fresh and an ample amount. I'd highly recommend The Fork & Knife.
I have always wanted to dine here. Ever since I was a young girl spending summers with my grandparents at the Jersey shore. I moved out of the area and just so happened to be visiting Atlantic City and decided to try this wonderful historical treasure. It totally lived up to my expectations. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and classical fine dining service.I had the short ribs which were expertly cooked and elegantly seasoned. My husband had the steak and lobster which was also prepared perfectly. We also shared the Brussel sprouts which were out of this world. We were so full after our meals that we just enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee to end our evening.I would love to come back and enjoy their happy hour which was happening when we arrived. There were literally no seats at the bar as it was clearly the place to be !! This place is a treasure and a must try for anyone visiting Atlantic City.
Sitting here right now and eating dinner. I never usually go out of my way to write reviews but this place is top class. The calamari and lobster spring rolls were great. The seafood risotto and filet Mignon were amazing- and the Brussels sprouts were the best I’ve ever had. I absolutely loved every single bite.
