Great Place to have a casual meal with friends and/or family. The place is very welcoming. It has a very nice and spacious outdoor area. And the indoor area is on the second floor very quaint and cozy. It’s truly a hidden gem in Dania Beach. Service is excellent. They have a variety of Caribbean inspired tapas. The one that peaked my attention the most was the roasted potatoes with manchego cheese. I had a grilled chicken salad with house made pico de Gallo it was very fresh, tasty and the dressing was divine. They have a variety of house made desserts. 🍮 All desserts offered seemed divine. From chocolate smothered cheesecake, to coconut/chocolate flan, flourless chocolate torte and... the one I tried... A light and delicious crepe with chocolate sauce, bananas, strawberries and whipped cream. It was light and delicious. Definitely a dessert you could share. The Chocolate Shop in the back is definitely worth a visit. It almost takes you back in time. The Store gas Display after display of delicious chocolate offerings from a variety of handmade truffles to almond and nuts chocolate bark. I bought a couple of truffles to take home and for family. I tried the “connoisseur truffle” (their most popular) there is a dark chocolate and a milk chocolate connoisseur The dark chocolate (the one I tried) was divine. I also tried “El Tropical” I didn’t love it. But if you like coconut a lot. You might like it. All in all a wonderful place. Will definitely visit Dania only to visit Jimmie’s Cafe. BTW you can make reservations to have a chocolate and wine pairing at Jimmies. Definitely a must visit 👍🏻
Beatiful store, filled with lots chocolate varieties. The hot chocolate and the service are great. They have plenty parking space around the building but is not wheelchair accessible. The accept all types of payment, including Samsung pay. If you are chocolate lover, this is definitely a place you need to visit and experience their flavors. Enyoi
We stumbled across this by accident. It’s truly magical!!! Especially now Christmas time.. I just loved it!!! Super cute!! Chocolate store behind the restaurant.. best ever! We had a couple small plates outside.. food was amazing.. ambiance even better. Highly recommend!
This is definitely a nice place for relaxing time in Dania Beach, plenty of parking in front of the building and behind the building. The foliage around the seating makes this very cozy and relaxing. They have outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoor seating does have fans and the trees provide great shade. We had lunch here and would be back again
If you're looking for a cozy place to have lunch or dinner, this is the café for you. The food is delicious and the staff here are extremely friendly and attentive. The desserts are amazing and the chocolate shop attached to the restaurant has something for everyone. I now understand why this place has been around since 1947. Highly recommended and definitely worth a visit!
