My grandson had the best birthday ever. We flew in for lunch and everyone from the hospitality on the taramac to entrance through the front doors and beyond gave us all such a warm and welcoming and friendly greeting.The pilots that were flying in and out made my grandson eager to learn more about aviation.Several pilots more than willing gave my grandson thier time to speak with him and encourage his curiosty of aviation. The homade mac and cheese was the bedt ! Thanks to his aunt Leilani and uncle Tony Rosebaum for taking him up on his first flight. Great atmosphere all around.

I flew in and was around Stennis 1/2 week. Great views of the airport. Transient aircraft get a meal voucher which gets a meal and drink for only $1. Busy with military planes and helicopters during the week. If I lived closer and even wasn’t into airplanes, I’d drive over just to eat here as if it was a standalone restaurant. Catfish Basket: Perfectly fried and flaky fish with a crispy crust that’s not too overly battered or fishy tasting or smelling. Mac & cheese is definitely cheesy which probably accounts for the extra grease below it. Burger: Large and flavorful patty. Made to my liking with grilled onions, pickles, Swiss (cheddar another day) and bacon. Crispy bacon and “meaty.” Mac & cheese and fries another day. Make sure to get “Tony’s Cajun” seasoning for fries. Really adds flavor.

Nice little cafe tucked away on the upper floor of the Million Air building at Stennis airport. We were able to watch military flights taking off from the windows of the cafe. My shrimp po-boy was tasty.
