This is one of the many gems that came highly recommended by local residents here. They have a pretty extensive menu with local Cajun/ Creole options and Chinese dishes on the opposite side of the menu. Both options I heard were fantastic but most customers here came for the local dishes: seafood boil, stuffed shrimp and crab, etc. I sat at the bar (it was packed and I didn’t want to sit at a table that could accommodate a party of 6), ordered a brew and indulged in some delicious stuffed shrimp! Wow! I usually save room for dessert but that wasn’t going to happen tonight. I was told that Jane’s is packed every night. Tonight wasn’t an exception. Make your way to Jane’s and make sure you are hungry!

We attended janes because of the rave reviews! As a couple of Canadians, we wanted to have the full crawfish experience! It was super busy, so we sat at the bar and had a beer while we waited for our table. Our server Amanda showed us how to eat them, and she was so lovely. Delicious!!!! Would absolutely recommend to everyone!

This was a very satisfying experience. It has a very friendly and family like atmosphere. I will definitely visit this place again and if you go there, you won't be disappointed. I've never had the birthday song sang to me, but it was great. Thanks to the staff of this fine establishment.

My best friend told me people come to New Iberia just to eat at Jane's, and I now understand why! Jane's offers Cajun seafood and Chinese cuisine. This night, we ordered strictly from the Cajun menu. Starters were Stuffed Shrimp (amazing!) and the Chargrilled Oysters (small but delicious!). For our entrees, we shared Chicken & Sausage Gumbo and Crawfish Etouffee, which were both served with potato salad (a must!), a hushpuppy, and a fried banana. And we had a Dungeness Crab--order mild if you can't take the heat! The cuisine was stellar and served so fast. Everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. Authentic flavor all around. Our server was so great with recommendations and answering our questions. She seemed like she really enjoyed working there. Kudos to the staff for excellent kitchen and front of house service! Everything was really very well coordinated to serve the large volume. Jane's is a hit! If you're in New Iberia for any length of time, don't miss it!
