Neat nicely run Variety Store featuring a ton of reasonably priced home goods and a large selection of toys. Nice candy counter that seems quite well stocked with gum, candy bars, tootsie pops and more! Management is considerate and helpful and store is clean as can be. Lots if parking at the door. Need a beach chair? Umbrella?

Island Variety's new location on Old South Rd is chock full of the most interesting & unique items you'll ever see. The owner has done a fabulous job of taking our favorite "old" gift shop & turning it into our favorite new one. Theres plenty of parking and a great selection of cards, gifts, toys, & holiday items. It's always clean & well stocked with a friendly, helpful staff. The household section has unique gift items as well as classic kitchen gadgets. Perfect for when you need a last minute teacher, hostess or mail carrier gift. The kids section is huge! I love all of the baby gift sets, books and cute stuffed animals. Your child is sure to find something to do among the aisles full of toys, games, crafts, books, puzzles etc.. Whether your looking for a birthday card, some rainy day fun or a chair & umbrella for the beach, Island Variety has got you covered.

The staff and owners at Island Variety are incredibly helpful and accommodating. I wanted to buy a sympathy gift today for a friend and didn’t know exactly what I wanted. The woman who answered the phone guided me through the store virtually by sending photos of products and reading the cards to me to help me choose. Also having free on island delivery, I was able to stay within my budget! I highly recommend Island Variety for year round gift shopping.

Id give this place 0 stars if I could. Went in to grab some last minute things and got a call from my Mom. The man behind the counter barked at me and I kindly said “All good thanks”. After clearly seeing I was on the phone, he barked right back that they were closing in 15 mins and that I should get the stuff quickly. Then proceeded to comment on me being on the phone and called me rude! Will not be going back here

Island variety is like Nantucket’s version of target. It’s one of those stores where you go in for one thing and you leave with a bunch of cute things you didn’t know you needed. They have EVERYTHING. Party supplies, beach toys/chairs, home decoration, jewelry, birthday cards, face masks, pillows. Prices are VERY reasonable! I am in LOVE this store. Staff is always friendly. My favorite place to go on island. Love an excuse to go to Island Variety!!!
