This place is a joke. If all you are looking for are Goya branded canned goods, this is your place. Cans, cans, cans, and more cans. That is mostly it aside for some plantains and frozen Goya branded empanadas. That is literally it. It also nice to be mean mugged from the person behind the register when walking in, nothing like a welcoming atmosphere. I am really surprised this place is making money.
If you are looking for Puerto Rican pasteles, this is the place. They are a little small and pricy but they are excellent. I drive a little over 100 miles to buy 24 every now and then.
I've been coming to this place for years, especially around the Christmas holidays for plantains, Cola Champagne, Alcapurias, and Pasteles. The owner is a bit shy but he's a very decent man and is always helpful. I hope this place stays in business for a while because it's my "go-to" place around the holidays. Feliz Navidad!
I have shopped at this store since the 80's and the owners are great. They are very helpful with any of your questions concerning product. The owners father was a very nice man & it was very sad when he passed away back in the early 90's. So happy that they are still in business.
Love getting my avocados from this location. Their ACTUAL avocados, not those giant grape looking onces that are sold around here. Owner is a bit rough, but product selection makes up for it
