Rented with entreprise, definitely would recommend downloading the app ahead of time. But overall a relatively smooth and stress free experience. Dropping the car off was seamless and took less than 5 mins.
Require rental shuttle bus provided by the the airport to get here. Ample space, minimal seating. Clean and well managed. You have all the major car rental companies here. Alamo car rental was good with quick check out and lots of vehicles available.
Great service from people at desk. My only complaint is that the car rental is so far from the airport. You have to ride a shuttle to get there and it's quite a ways away. Make sure to plan an extra 30 minutes after you drop off car to get back to airport.
Overall, it's not a bad experience as far as car rental centers go. You do have to take a shuttle back and forth to the rental center and they do like to pack you into the busses. The exit location and entrance to return the car are well marked and easy to find.
The experience felt like an interrogation with the male counter service rep we had. We were asked countless personal questions about our trip that were unrelated to our business. The rep surprised us with a $400 deposit fee that was almost the same cost of the trip. After we expressed our surprise at the price, he mentioned that the fee could be waived if we had a return flight booked. It would be good customer service to mention that when the deposit fee is mentioned and without the customer having to express concern. The staff outside of the office was friendly. However, there was an unpleasant odor in the car. We ultimately had to purchase air fresheners for the car out of our own pockets. We were also not told that we would have to pay an additional $70+ for another driver until we were leaving the parking lot. It would have been nice for the person at the counter to ask us how many drivers we had and mention the extra cost instead of grilling us about the unrelated details of our trip.
