Ate at the deli with some friends. We had sweet and sour chicken, a cheese burger, and a chicken sandwich. A friend had the sweet and sour chicken, and they served the sauce in very hard to open packets. . . Weird, inconvenient, and frustrating. I ate a chicken sandwich, and they burnt the chicken, so much so that it tasted burnt. No complaints on the cheese burger.

People are always friendly and helpful. Barb Drake is a beyond wonderful manager. She’s always going the extra mile to make sure that the customers are taken care of. Karen is also one of the better ones there! She’s always asking how the customer is doing and how the family is doing, with a smile. Always polite. Never had a negative experience with the employees of Hy-Vee in Columbus.

Hy-Vee might be a tad more expensive than your other stores. But, they have the better meats and produce. Their cafe is always a good spot to grab a bite. They have a ton of options.

I'm 70 years old, it seems absurd to me to have to show my ID to buy six beers. In a gesture of sincerity I expressed it to the employee who attended to me, and in a way that showed her anger, she replied that she could go shopping somewhere else. It seemed like an inadequate and disproportionate response to me because she is only there to ship and collect what customers buy. This happened today, Saturday, June 8 at 3:00 pm.

I place an order of breakfast i order three fresh squish orange juice. They was out of the juice which is OK but they tried to give me 3 8 oz Bottled juice but they still charging me almost 4 dollars for those juices which is not fair. I think they will be asking me first if I wanted it or not I tried to talk to the kitchen staff and the only thing that they told me is we out of it they don’t give me any other options, so I have to go to customer service
