I would recommend this hotel, but only if you have a car! We mapped a bus route here using Google Maps, but the directions to walk from the bus stop to the hotel went straight across a huge tangle of highways and a toll plaza, and there was no sidewalk or walking route whatsoever. However, the next morning we did figure out how to take buses from this hotel to the airport, so if you're desperate enough to book this hotel, this is how to do it (Google Maps won't tell you this): 1. Walk from this hotel to the bus stop in front of United Cargo. Most of the way along Frontage Road there is no sidewalk, so it's a little sketchy. Take bus 40 one stop to North Area Transit Center - Port Street. 2. Cross the street and walk through the gates into the airport P6 parking lot. Take the free airport shuttle bus to the airport. The hotel itself was fine. We had a restful night of sleep and there was a tree with beautiful flowers growing right in front of our 3rd-story window. We appreciated that they provided enough towels for our family. There was a little bit of dust and cracks on the walls, and the room smelled like they had used some sort of fragrance to cover up past smoke odors.

If I could rate a zero, I Would!!! It was the worst experience I've ever dealt with in the history of my hotel experiences. I have been a platinum member for 5+yrs, and I have never had issues staying at ANY Wyndham hotel nor anywhere else for that matter. I spent over $2300 cash staying there for almost a month because of my work/school schedule & overtime. I was turned away from this hotel twice after booking with confirmation of my reservation. After doing a double shift until midnight. I was told that i was not allowed to book with them because of my visit before this 1. I chose to use my membership perks of (early check-in or late check out). I was then told there was so such perk & because i checked out a hr past check out, I WAS NOW BANNED FROM THEIR 20 Frontage Rd location & I needed to take my business elsewhere. I have been back to this hotel 3+times since& I have asked to speak to the manager. I've been told either he isn't there or i just missed him & they don't know when he will return. The clerks are very sarcastic, arrogant & rude. I don't recommend anyone stay here unless it's your last choice. They have a roach infestation, ppl are hanging around in front & throughout the hallways, the hotel reeks of Marijuana from your 1st step past the class doors. The main entrance floods when it rains. The only pleasant thing was that its 10mins from my job and the ladies that came to clean the rooms & bring extra towels were extremely professional & courteous.

Awful. This place is such a ripoff! Avoid staying here if possible. Our flight was cancelled, so we booked this hotel for one night’s stay. We paid $149 which came to $170 with tax. We have now learned that it is possible to get a $50 motel experience for what is supposed to be a $150 hotel. The entire hotel reeks of cigarette smoke, the carpets in the hallway are the filthiest I’ve seen, bed is uncomfortably firm, mold on the bathroom ceiling as there is no bathroom fan. The window curtains were torn in half. Please see pictures. Minimal isolation material made it so we heard every airplane landing and taking off from Newark Airport making it impossible to sleep. We tried to walk to the airport (Google says it’s a 5 minute walk), but it was showing us the flight path going over multiple lanes of highway and jumping over 5 feet medians, and 9 feet tall chain link fences. We ended up taking an Uber because the hotel has no airport shuttle. Please choose a different hotel!

The front desk was not very friendly.. all kind of sketchy characters hanging around the parking lot. The first night there was a really vicious fight in the room Next to me and in the hallway that resulted in the police and the paramedic beings called.this went on till after 1 Am. Suspects arrested. The room appear clean but the wall and hallway carpeting is filthy..the second night room keys were not working and my partner ended up basically not being able to leave his room since a replacement room key was never brought to the room. I would not stay there again. The place need a complete revamp.
