I am reading a lot of negative reviews on here but our experience was quite the opposite. All the staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. They allowed us to check in hours early and stored our luggage until our room was ready. The rooms are basic but were absolutely fine. The pool area is nice. This hotel is great for the price and location.
This is a lovely stay! The lobby is welcoming and spacious enough that people can lounge in peace. Service is kind and accommodating; they stowed our luggage so we could go to the beach before check in which was awesome! the rooms are comfortable and clean, the water is hot, the wifi works, and the pool is beautiful! There's no breakfast which is no problem because there's a First Watch within walking distance and our bathroom door in our room couldn't properly close but personally, not a big issue for me. All in all I definitely recommend for a chill, quiet place to sleep.
We made a mistake booking the reservation here, but figured we'd check out the room anyways since we were only staying one night.. Do not stay here this is the worst hotel I've ever been to. There were people doing drugs in the hallway, and not just marijuana. The elevator smelled like urine and we did not feel safe. If you make the mistake of booking here the hotel next door is nice.
DO NOT…I repeat…DO NOT stay here. If I could give it a zero rating, I would. My family and I arrived at night so we didn’t see the sign that advertised “daily, weekly, monthly rates” (which would have been the first red flag). It was raining when we arrived so the floors outside and in the elevator were a severe slip hazard. When we got into our room, there was a used towel on the counter and our bathroom door was closed AND locked. There was no phone in the room so we had to walk back to the office to get help opening the bathroom door. Once the door was open, we quickly recognized that there was only one used roll of toilet paper in the room. The light switch was hanging onto the wall by a thread and the counters were filthy. In addition to the above, there were some very sketchy characters outside. The only thing good about this place was the location. It’s within walking distance to good shopping but THAT’S IT.
I checked out as fast as I checked in.. I can guarantee I did not last more than 5 SECONDS! Definitely not for me. In my opinion, it appears to be very dangerous. I felt very unsafe the five seconds I was there.. I immediately notified front desk staff that this was not for me, room smelt like pure smoke, windows Had kids hand marks all over it, broken window shades, room was not clean at all broken down cars, abandoned shopping carts, loud kids running around who appears to live there however, the front desk staff is very nice. They did understand that it’s not for me and gave me a full refund, but I did have to come back for it days later for the refund. Definitely don’t recommend but to each its own.
