Really good experience staying for a weekend at the Hotel Washington with my wife. The front desk associate Mary was very helpful and welcoming, and our room was nice, nothing fancy but clean and functional. What we really loved about this hotel is the proximity to all center-DC museums and sites - it's a stone's throw from the White House and Washington Monument, both spectacularly visible from the hotel's fantastic rooftop bar. we will definitely be back to the Hotel Washington.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Washington! The hotel is clean, comfortable, and located close to everything we wanted to see and do. The museums and sights are all within walking distance. Mary at the front desk was a gem! She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Mary!
Overall, my stay at Hotel Washington was enjoyable, with comfortable accommodations and great service. The location is perfect, only a couple minutes walk to the White House. However, there were a couple of aspects that were unexpected and could be improved upon. The hotel itself is lovely, with clean rooms and friendly staff. However, it would have been helpful to know upon check-in that the rooftop bar transforms into a nightclub at night. While this may be appealing to some guests, it can be a bit disruptive for those looking for a quieter stay. Additionally, the presence of bouncers can make it difficult to access your room, and the music from the nightclub can sometimes be heard from the rooms, impacting sleep quality. With a bit more transparency about the nightlife activities and perhaps some measures to mitigate noise, Hotel Washington could provide an even better experience for all guests. Regardless, I would stay here again.
The location is a "10". Easy walk to the Metro. Easy walk to a superb high-end steak house if that is needed. Hotel is next door to the White House. Easy walk to the National Mall. High-quality service. I will always return to this location when in DC on business.
Beautiful hotel. Staff tries to go above and beyond. They are very personable. Room was fun, well appointed and very comfortable. Particularly appreciate Mary taking the time to look up the name of an artist whose work was on display throughout the hotel at the time.
