Hotel Indigo Atlanta Airport - College Park, an IHG Hotel
What people are saying
I got stranded at Atlanta airport and was pleasantly surprised to find myself at this hotel for several days until my outbound flight. The staff was friendly even at times I could see they were very busy. I felt welcome & safe here as a solo traveler. Its located just one stop from the airport on the Marta. They offer a shuttle service to/from the airport but its easy to walk here from the College Park Marta stop. The neighborhood is cute and safe, 15 min walk from a great grocery store and less than five minute walk from The Real Milk & Honey. Best warm honey biscuits on earth.
This hotel indigo has been let go. Floors are in tough shape. Definitely smelled musty. service so so at best. It’s an airport hotel so I really shouldn’t complain about the location, but all of the hotels in this area are fenced in for safety reasons. A little unsettling. Unloading cars we were told if it sat out there too long it ticketed and they can’t do anything about it. Business is not a business center. But a desk in the hallway. Overall I would pass on this location if you have other opportunities. If you need to stay here, it’s not the worst place I’ve ever stayed.Beds were Clean. Felt comfortable in the room. Travel safe y’all!
The floors were dirty in the bedrooms, all the furniture was marked up and clearly needed replaced. Sheets had unidentified stains all over them. There was hair all over the bathroom and the shower was mouldy. The room clearly hadn't been properly cleaned in a very long time. Definitely would not stay here again. It's in a pretty sketchy area. Would not have walked around by myself outside, in the day or at night. Also u have to pay for parking each day. $14 a day.
Stayed one night, was happy with my stay: room was spacious and well appointed, and the bed felt a bit nicer than other hotel beds I've rested on. I didn't use much of the amenities, and the hotel restaurant looked nice enough, but I ate at one of the nearby places. Location is very close to the MARTA station, but the walk to the shops required crossing railroad tracks and a busy street, so FYI. No free breakfast but the staff were friendly, and would definitely stay again if I'm around the airport 🙂
Paid over $100 dollars for a place to sleep during our 12 hour layover. They were doing construction at 11pm. The noise was so loud we could hear it with ear plugs in. Called down to the front and asked if they were doing construction. The lady was rude and said yes they will be done soon. Soon? It's 11pm. People rent these hotels by the airport usually for a few hours of sleep which we barely got. If we weren't so exhausted we would have left. Floors were sticky in the room and when you call to ask about the airport shuttle they will seem very putout. Update: They didn't contact us. Who does construction at 1130 at night.
