Solidly a decent place. Clean and comfy. While an older property, totally fine for what was needed and/or wanted. Breakfast was a little sad and some of the items (eggs) were actually frozen and had to be warmed in the microwave.

A great location close to the airport, shops and restaurants. Plenty of parking and a free shuttle to the airport going hourly. Rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff. Free breakfast and tea, coffee juice 24/7 in foyer. Very good value for money.

Great location and very helpful and accommodating staff. Location is close to the airport as well as restaurants. Room was good, light breakfast was just enough and shuttle was a life saver. We saved money with the shuttle as well as the light breakfast and coffee. We also caught the shuttle returning from the airport. Overall, it was a good stay and worth the cost.

We booked a sleep, park, and fly package with hotel 1550 for our group of 26. We had 9 rooms to accommodate our family. The staff was so helpful even before we arrived answering all our questions and helping us managing a schedule to shuttle everyone to the airport. The morning we left for the airport our first group had to hop on the shuttle at 5am and the gentleman running the desk was kind enough to put out some of the breakfast items so our group could grab something to take with. When we arrived back to the hotel on our way back from vacation our rooms were ready for us and even those that requested a crib for little ones was already in room waiting for the families. We could not have asked for more accommodating/friendly staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable; in regards to some reviews commenting on the dated rooms is nonsense. We just spent a week in Hawaii where we paid 700-800/night at a resort and these rooms at hotel 1550 are very modern in comparison. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you Hotel 1550!

Hot water did not work and was out for an extended period of time. The rooms are advertised as 2 queen beds, however they were actually double beds. Might seem insignificant, but for a taller guy the 5 inches in mattress length makes a difference. Especially, if you’re trying to have 2 people share a bed. Overall, room was average, it did have a distinct smell which was somewhat unpleasant. Person at the front desk was very nice, so that’s the only good experience at the hotel. Plenty of other options at a similar price point, I’d recommend exploring alternatives.
