Homestead Park
What people are saying
This park has a cute little playground that is hard to find. You have to park on the street and walk about 5 minutes to get to the the playground. There were no bathrooms to be seen. It's nice and quiet park even on a nice summer day. There is also a walking path that we did not explore.
Fantastic trails! Hiking & biking trails for beginners through expert. You can't beat this local park for variety of adventure!
I've been going here since I was a child, & I still love stopping by it today. Since it was remodeled, the playground is much more intricate. It's never too busy, & is easily one of my favorite parks.
What a cute playground! There's no street parking for the playground so you have to park on a street near the trail and walk down to the playground, which was a little hard to find. I also wouldn't recommend this playground for kids under 3 years old. No swings, just big climbing structures. Even the slide had a ladder that's for bigger kids. Also there's no shade so pretty hot. But again, great for bigger kids!
Found this park while doing a search of playgrounds in our area and ventured to it due to the uniqueness of the play structure. However, the park is very difficult to access and we will not be returning.
