Not that I'm a hotel snob I'm more than happy to stay at a limited service property as long as it's clean. A good hotel manager will walk the property with a magic eraser to ensure it's clean and presentable. lots of dirty marks on walls, bathroom needs a good deep clean and even though the breakfast area was well stocked, I didn't see anyone cleaning tables the entire time.
My recent stay was absolutely fantastic, largely thanks to the incredible service provided by their front desk staff, especially the young lady who has blonde hair and tattoos. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and efficiency, making check-in a breeze despite a busy lobby. She truly exemplified multitasking at its finest, effortlessly handling multiple guests while remaining attentive to each person's needs. Her honesty and transparency stood out—whether recommending local attractions or providing dining suggestions, every recommendation was spot on. Moreover, she was incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Her knowledge of the hotel amenities and surrounding area was extensive, making them an invaluable resource throughout my visit. Overall, my experience was elevated to a new level by the exceptional service she provided (I wish I knew a name!). Her professionalism, friendly demeanor, and dedication to customer satisfaction truly set this hotel apart. I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough—it's a five-star customer service experience all the way! The room itself was okay. I must say the floors & appliances were not as clean as the usual Hilton stay. I am sure this is a heavy kid traffic hotel, but that just means the staffing of cleaning employees and the cleaning standards should be higher than normal.
Hi my family and I just had the worst experience at a Hilton hotel we’ve ever had. We have been loyal Hilton members for 16 years and always chose Home2 when we travel because of the size of the room. The first issue we had when we came into the room with the AC was making a terrible noise and shutting off. I immediately called the front desk and she said she would send maintenance. This was around 6 PM. When we first checked in. I called or went downstairs every hour until 10 PM, and maintenance never showed. At this point we needed to put our kids to bed so they let us use a fan which was incredibly filthy. The next morning when we checked on our maintenance request, they said the maintenance worker was on vacation, that they needed to get a maintenance worker from a neighboring hotel, which doesn’t make any sense, because why did the girl who said the night before that maintenance was coming not know he was on vacation so something there didn’t really add up. Either way somebody did come and fix our air-conditioning unit the next day which we appreciated. The next issue was the entire hotel room was just dirty. It was not fully stocked. We did not have bedding for the pull out, we didn’t have enough towels, there was no trashcan in the bathroom. Then this morning, my husband gets out of bed the only time anyone walked barefoot in the hotel room because it was so gross and stepped on a piece of glass. UNACCEPTABLE. I’m thankful it was him and not one of my kids. Then, as we were packing up to leave, we found more broken glass. If the room had been properly cleaned this would not have happened. Also, the pull-out mattress was disgusting. There was also a trash bag placed over the smoke detector. The smoke detector and CO2 detector would not have worked on the first night of our stay, UNACCEPTABLE There were DIRTY dishes left in the dishwasher. Also I didn’t read any reviews on this hotel before we came, I trusted the Hilton brand. if you look through the most recent reviews many people mention how dirty the hotel is. it does not seem like this is a one-time issue, but an ongoing issue with this location. The main thing a hotel should be is clean. Twice while we were there we asked to speak to the manager. He was nowhere to be found. We have called and emailed and no response.
Overall good experience, clean room Only downside was the people next door had a large dog that barked. I’m not a fan of pets in hotels due to noise and cleanliness. Not a complaint, just an observation. Maybe a kennel room for pets would be beneficial like the holding areas that some stores have.
We were very happy with our stay! The staff was friendly, and the room was clean and family friendly. There was plenty of space, and the rooms are well designed with plenty of storage and a sliding curtain to block off the beds. This allowed us to stay up a little later after putting the little one to bed. The waterpark was a lot of fun. The hot breakfast had a lot of options.
