This is a horrible place to stay. Your complimentary breakfast was served in a Box. The the room had mold in the shower and on the ceiling. I had to request that it be cleaned. They painted the ceiling and cleaned most of the mold off. The rugs were dirty, the pillows were heavy and old. The personnel that worked there was very very nice and accommodating. I had to request that the room be cleaned and the beds made.I will never stay here again. Even if they were in the middle of remodeling is this motel
I stayed here for 6 days so I got a good impression of the working of the hotel. Over the course of the week we never had a terrible experience with any staff member. In fact, I found the staff to be quite friendly and helpful during each encounter I had with them. My daughter and husband enjoyed the pool! The breakfast buffet was really good and the cinnamon raisin french toast was to die for! Our room was clean and comfortable though the room colors seemed flipped the wrong way😜 and the floor was really quiet. It was a great stay and I would stay there again.
This was my families home for about a week while staying in VT. We enjoyed it. The staff got to know us after a few days and we began having fun with them. The wait staff in the restaurant were fun. The one was originally from close to our hometown which was fun. We had a horrible storm which knocked out the hotels power. The were right on it and were great. The pool was clean and inviting. The rooms were nice. The staff fun and the food great. Thank you guys!
Stayed here for work and from the moment I arrived felt just dirty. There was people outside lurking the entrance and felt I needed to bring everything from my car inside with me. The worker was nice but the setup is a bit odd in terms of lobby to the rooms, you have to go down 3 very long hallways, through a stairwell door just to get to the rooms. While waiting to check in a lady in front asked for a different room because the one they just checked into had urine on the bathroom floor, smelled of cigarettes, mold on the ceiling, and stained sheets. Not very comforting. My room was okay but Just felt stale and dirty, I didn’t want to touch the rug with bare feet and even the shower felt dirty. The toilet was stained and rusted brown. I tried to find a place to get water, the one vending machine Only took coins and there was a coin stuck so couldn’t use it. Thankfully the front desk gave me one. The bed was comfortable and had mini fridge and microwave, which was the only nice part of the room. Overall, spend your money elsewhere, like the hampton inn or even econo lodge down the street. I’ve never seen a Holiday Inn look so run down. It’s also a little unfair that the reviews are rated higher due to 5-star vaccine appointment reviews, since that has nothing to do with the hotel and rooms itself. I think if those were filtered out it would be closer to 1-2 stars.
There is nothing special about this hotel. If you just need a place to stay this is definitely going to do the trick. If you're looking for a nicer place, don't come here. The hallways smells like old cigarettes. Many of the hallway doors stick so you have to try multiple times to open them and that causes lots of noise especially late at night. They do have 2 hot tubs but they were both filled with kids. The hot tubs should be for the adults, or at least reserve one of them for the paying customers. My biggest disappointment was the breakfast. It's definitely one step above your traditional continental breakfast but for someone who is health-conscious or who has any dietary restrictions, this place is a nightmare. No gluten free or non dairy options. Even the big vat of oatmeal is pre sweetened with apple juice. Why? This place needs to get with the times and offer something that the rest of us can eat. One of the waitresses was very kind and she brought out her own almond milk, her own personal stash on the back room so I could have some cereal ♥️
