This hotel carries Holiday Inn Express branding, but also has security guards with X-Ray scanners and metal detector wands at the entrance. The clientele here are not travelers looking for a safe and quick stay between flights. Beware before traveling here.
Stayed for 5 nights and all of the staff members I encountered throughout my stay were very friendly. The room was nice and clean, but pretty small for two people. My only major issue overall was that the despite the ‘No Smoking’ signs everywhere, the hotel hallways and elevators wreaked of marijuana all day, everyday! If that’s not your thing, then I’d avoid.
Great hotel. Friendly and accommodating staff. Especially Tamika, who went above and beyond to ensure my requests for the room with a view and a mini refrigerator in the room were met. Clean room, nice bed, sound proofing could have been a bit better. There's a restaurant and full bar on property and free shuttle rides from and to JFK. I will stay here again and recommend my friends as well. I stayed here in Feb 2018.
For my short stay, it was a good experience. The bed some comfortable and everything in the room worked. Decent location from local shopping and food options with a 10 to 15 minute drive from the airport (straight road). Customer Service could of been better with more communication especially for being greeted as a member.
Had a really nice experience. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and temperature was comfortable. Bed and pillows also comfortable. Hotel restaurant had limited menu choices but great service and tasty food with generous portions. There are also a good bit of fast and casual restaurants within driving distance. Everything looks updated and modern. Really appreciated the free and convenient shuttle to the airport. Would stay here again if I need to go to JFK.
