Great customer service. Great location from where I was going for my business stay. There's a decent breakfast each morning. A indoor swimming pool. Also a work out area on location. They also give complimentary chocolate chip cookies each afternoon-evening.
Our king room was clean but cramped. Two people could not pass each other between the bed and closet/valet. Faucet in the bathroom was loose. Breakfast was good but the layout of the tables was in the middle of the lobby with guests passing through. Overall it just felt thrown together with cost cutting first and guests second. Also had trouble with the ice machine. There is only one on the 1st and 3rd floor. There should be one on every floor. We have always been happy with Holiday Inn Express and stayed one night in Nampa and four nights in Lewiston and both were great. We might be looking for a different hotel on our next trip through Winnemucca.
Rooms were clean and beds comfortable so that was a plus. There was alot of noise coming from the hall and the room next door. I guess they need to have better insulation and/or sealing on the doors? Breakfast was great, nice selection and refilled often. The big plus for me was the room entrances were inside so it felt safer to me especially being next to a casino.
Do not stay in room 230 unless you want to hear every little sound all night long. The floor boards are squeaky in the room above. It was so loud it woke my kid up and then she had a hard time getting back to sleep. I stayed up hours past the time I normally fall asleep because of the noise. The room was spacious and clean but not worth the lack of sleep.
A great place to stop for any type of traveler! It’s conveniently located, pet friendly, and the customer service is excellent. I’m sure there are plenty of local options but this one was easy and no fuss.
