They're in the process of renovating, so there are work trucks in the majority of the tiny parking spots during the week, and the parking garage is tight. I like that it's not accessible unless you're staying there. The front desk staff was nice and knowledgeable, breakfast was great, and the selection was plentiful. The room was spacious and clean, although it had a bathroom smell when we walked in, but it was nothing a little Lysol and concentrated spray couldn't handle. There was a spacious refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker in the room. In the area is the beach, cruise port, airport, casino, shops and nice restaurants. I'd stay here again.
The location was great for us as far as proximity to the cruise port and the parking service we used for our cruise. The area around the hotel wasn’t great. The lady at the front desk was very friendly, but she needed help. She was alone and when we got there the lobby was full of guests trying to check in. We had to wait about 40 minutes in the lobby for our room to be ready, and this was after check in time. The hotel itself was nice. It was noticeably older, as we had just stayed the night before at another Holiday Inn & Suites in Jacksonville that was new. The breakfast was decent. We would stay again just due to location if nothing else.
Absolutely amazing hotel. Kind workers, never been in a hotel that provides Dove body wash. Loved that. Very clean hotels, lobby and rooms smell amazing. Workers left notes informing us if we forgot basic necessities they will provide it for us complimentary, and they also offered shuttle to our airport in the morning. Will definitely come here again if we come back to florid!
Tiffany is the absolute most amazing person and was SO helpful in the midst of our travel disaster. We flew in for our honeymoon cruise and discovered that the airline sent our luggage and required cruise boarding documents all the way to Maryland. We were scrambling at 2 in the morning to get things figured out and she eased my panic and sent over a shuttle to get us to the last available room, made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. She set us up on a shuttle back to the airport for our bags first thing in the morning and showed us so much kindness and support after we felt shrugged off by other local hotels. We are so grateful and HIGHLY recommend staying here during your travels!
My experience here was good and I would stay here again if I am intown. Service from front desk was pleasant and professional from Alexa. Amazing personality and very helpful. Food service which is breakfast only was good but needed some one else to have service more taken care of. Refilling,cleaning , and so on I observe the lady who I saw each morning seem to be drained and inneed of help Please employ another person to help her during breakfast period! Overall my stay was pleasant Thanks again Alexa for being awesome and professional.
