We stayed at this location because we were flying out at the airport. Overall, the staff was friendly, the hotel meets the IHG standard of quality, and our room was super comfortable. Pro tip: they can accommodate parking if you are a guest and have an airport shuttle that runs promptly every 30 minutes 24/7. During peak times they also have a second van which shows up in 2 minutes if/when the first one shows up. Great experience!
The rooms are decent and the breakfast is excellent. The service is abysmal - took 10 mins to check in. No AC in the conference room we booked, and they shuffled us to multiple different conference rooms afterward. Charged me for both rooms when I expressly told them I had a card on file for my room and only wanted to pay for my room, and my coworker was standing there trying to pay for his. Breakfast not included and can’t be charged to room. Everything about this place is a hot mess besides their housekeeping and their kitchen.
I’m disappointed with my experience staying at Holiday Inn. I paid almost 200.00 a night to stay there. When I got to my room, it smelled like mildew. I went to the bathroom, and there was a roach in there. They moved us to another room, and when I got in there, and moved the chair, there were crumbs in it. When using the bathroom. I wiped up some water off the floor, and the towel became dirty. We noticed the air conditioner wasn’t working right, when I walked over to check it, the carpet was wet. Evidently the air conditioner had a leak. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was great. I’ve stayed in different hotels, and “never had any issues like this. You don’t always get what you pay for. 😞
Great Charlotte Airport hotel with a 24 hour shuttle that runs frequently. The hotel had a very good help yourself, all you can eat breakfast buffet - free for IHG Platinum members and guest. We didn't use it, but the outdoor pool looked great (see video). Hotel room was clean. Just wish the bed mattress was more comfortable (Room #110).
Spent a night here before an early morning flight. It is conveniently close to the park n go which I used too. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. If I need another room before a flight, this will be the first place I pick to stay.
