This hotel did not meet the Hilton expectations. Granted a lot of people come and stay for a night or 2 due to this hotel being shuttle friendly to the cruise ports and airport. Overall couldn’t believe this hotel was a Hilton. Yes, they are doing some renovations, which is much appreciated because it is needed. But doesn’t seem anything is really being done or at least there was not much that seemed to have started. The entire “lobby” area in the back was very unappealing. Anybody could walk in the hotel. Which I get as it being the temporary lobby area, but no one is around and no cameras. There may be one random camera on the corner of the outside of the building but nothing in place on the inside where the doors are open around the corner from the temporary lobby area. There’s always someone random standing outside even at the crack of dawn and no staff member are nearby because they are up the hall and around the corner. The shuttles were a little sketchy looking as if I were being kidnapped. I could hear the next door neighbor the entire night I guess partying. The floors in the room were very thin. The air conditioning hardly worked as it was freezing when i got in the room but it began getting hotter throughout the day and night. The phone didn’t not work and it was plugged in from what it seemed. Couldn’t call down to the front and I assume this is because of the renovations and they aren’t at their proper front desk but this is very dangerous. There seem to be mold or some sort of fungus in the building. Lots of moisture was in the air and/or walls. Not sure why the overpowering of excessive air freshener in the hall way, but it’s too much. The elevators need some renovation work done to it. Hopefully, they have passed the inspection to be operable properly. Just taking a chance. The location is great as there are a lot of food, shops, and restaurants near by and in walking distance but just be careful. But overall this Hilton would be a 3 out of 10 in my opinion but who knows, once the renovations have been completed it might be better. This just wasn’t a good experience. The staff seemed to be pretty nice and helpful but the hotel itself needs the “renovation” it’s getting or these other competitors in the area will be getting more of the Hilton’s business. They are building a lot in the area.

The Hilton Garden Inn Ft. Lauderdale Airport-Cruise Port is a gem! The convenient location near the airport and cruise port is unbeatable. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-equipped with modern amenities. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, offering friendly and professional service. The on-site restaurant serves delicious meals, and the shuttle service is a fantastic perk. The overall ambiance is relaxing and welcoming. A perfect choice for travelers. Highly recommend!

Honestly I was very disappointed. My door was left unlock by the cleaner. My floor was very dirty and I have two year old. We spilled some mac and cheese on the sheet and instead of them changing the duvet they just Made the bed. When they serviced the room they brought only one towel. I did complain to front desk about the lack of towels and unlocked room, they said they would let a manager know and call me, none of that. The breakfast buffet I explained to the lady my wife was upstairs and I had to bring her her plate because she taking care of our daughter. I gave her the ticket and came back down and she asked for my ticket rudely and when she couldn't understand what I was saying she walked me to front desk. It was very unpleasant stay.

Highly recommend! Very nice welcoming and helpful staff ! Clean room and very reasonable price ! Check in was quick. Would come back if I’m on the area again Update I did came back again and I will go ahead and say they are the most amazing staff I’ve ever met in a hotel ( as a frequent travel) very unique pleasant helpful and welcoming! I’ve experienced a personal issue during my stay and they were so amazing by helping me emotionally I do not have enough words to thank them ! Besides that rooms are always tidy clean and big .

Although they are remodeling, the room seemed nasty and not properly cleaned. I was only in town for a night. The towels had stains. It just wasn't what I expected from a Hilton property. The staff was helpful; maybe the cleaning staff is stretched too thin. The outside when you're walking in seemed also very unkempt and dirty.
