This hotel is a hot mess. I have been here two weeks on business. I asked the front desk to give FedEx a package I had. It has been down there for a week and a half, and I’ve seen the FedEx person enter the building at least three times. They have a broken Peloton bike in the gym. I sat on the seat, and it was loose. I fell back and hit my head. It was a straightforward fix and only required a couple. Wrenches, they did nothing about it and plan on doing nothing. I’m a platinum member, and I requested an upgrade. I’m unsure why they gave it to me because the hotel has been empty for two weeks. Loyalty definitely does not have his privileges terrible
After abruptly leaving another hotel/ motel, it was a pleasure coming here. It was clean and very inviting. I also ate dinner at the grill and it was delicious 😋.
For a Hilton this needs some work. We were taken care of very nicely by the manager and switched up rooms because of mobility issues. But this one needs some upgrades, staff at morning breakfast barked at us when we started getting food that we had to pay. It was included in our plan. Understand that maybe there should be something notifying you to let the staff know but I honestly thought it came with the rooms, period. Room did not heat up it only was blowing cold air but we didn’t say anything because we were told this room was the only other mobility room available. We ended up leaving a day early. I’m really glad I didn’t use my Hilton points and waste them on this stay since it was disappointing. Manager was great, just Hilton needs to work on the actual hotel.
EDIT 4/15/2024 So I tried to dispute with my card company and because Hilton wouldn't return they money they deined it. I called up there again, and the manager remenered me and hung up on me for the second time. I did not smoke in the room, so i guess if you are a smoker and smoke in your car DO NOT STAY AT HILTON because they will charge you a smoking fee even if the smoke from your clothes transfers to the sheets they have to wash anyway. I stay at Hilton a few times a year as well as my family and friends. I will be letting everyone know to boycot Hilton. Very disappointed. That location must be hard up for the money because they only had 1 floor open out of the 5 and most of those the heat wasn't working so they needed to find some money somehow. What a joke, hanging up on your customers. Stayed here Christmas Weekend. Very disappointed with the stay. They were doing construction so only one floor was available. The first night the heater in the room was only blowing cool air, the next day they put us in a new room. I am a smoker and went outside multiple times to smoke cigarettes in my car with my quest. We never brought the cigarettes in the hotel as they were left in the car and still got a charge for$265 for smoking in the room. The manager was very rude saying she smelled cigarette smoke, I asked her to check the cameras she could see we went out multiple times to smoke in the car, she refused. The only evidence was a smell, which after hotboxing in a car and returning to room, smoke can transfer to other fabrics. She was rude and hung up on me. I am disputing this with the credit card company as I DID NOT SMOKE IN THEIR ROOM>
This is a great hotel. Staff is wonderful. Thomas the manager is so awesome. He's so welcoming and made us feel at home.
