The staff here was above and beyond in accommodating and friendliness. Breakfast was delicious and Cleveland our server was so personable. The hotel is absolutely stunning inside and out. The hotel was quiet and people were just so friendly. Keep it up Marietta Hilton, you’re doing a fantastic job.

I recently stayed at the Hilton in Marietta and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. On the first night, I had to relocate rooms due to mold all over the restroom in the original room. The new room wasn't much better—over 15 ladybugs were flying around and crawling on the carpet, walls, curtains, ceiling and sheets. After removing most of them, I went to bed only to find significantly more ladybugs the next day, along with blood stains on the carpet. I called the front desk on my cellphone as the phone in the room did not work. While Tom was helpful and quickly moved me to another room, the overall quality of the stay was severely compromised. The new room had significant dust in the vents. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast provided as compensation was subpar. Overall, I am really disappointed with the quality of the rooms and the food. I hope the hotel addresses these issues to prevent future guests from having similar experiences as the property is beautiful and the staff is really nice. The potential is certainly there.

We came for the weekend to attend a wedding. We paid $384/night for a king room that was supposed to be upgraded. I don’t think the bed was actually a king (we have a king at home and this bed was noticeably smaller). The room was overall much dingier than I’d expect at this price point. There were holes in the ceiling of the bathroom, tons of stains on the floors and carpet, and it smelled like mildew. The bathroom also just had old dirt and dust in the corners like it hadn’t been deep cleaned for a hot second. That being said the staff was super friendly and helpful. Zero complaints on that front. Overall very disappointed that we dropped almost $1000 here when we could have saved half of that at a Holiday Inn.

I walked in to this hotel on 7/13 @ around 8:30pm and asked the man at the desk if they had any rooms available for that night. His response. “Not really”. I said ok? What does not really mean? Either you have one or you don’t. He continues to tell me he has 2 but they are “very expensive”. I then asked him if there was a suite because online it said there was, he continued being super rude and saying he doesn’t know why it says that and that’s not the room he has. I am a very nice/polite person.. I was willing to pay whatever the price was. I was playing in local softball tournament and needed a room for one night and it’s so unfortunate that the front desk man can’t have any respect or professionalism aka do his job.

We stayed at this hotel for a total of 3 weeks so I really hope this feedback is taken seriously with management. I’ll start with the good - the beds were extremely comfy, and we loved the outdoor seating. The location is good by the square and many restaurants nearby. As for the negative - the cleanliness of the hotel rooms was pitiful. I had to basically BERATE the receptionists to deep clean our room just ONCE and it happened….once. In 3 weeks. THREE!! (And by deep clean I simply mean taking a sponge to the counters and doing a vacuum and sheet change). The absolute bare minumum. Now, this is no fault to the house keepers. House keepers are notoriously overworked and underpaid - but this is the HILTON we’re talking about - not Comfort Inn or Motel 6. Please invest more time and training in your housekeepers! In our 3 week stay we had THREE different scenarios where a housekeeper walked in on us, after NO KNOCK! Thankfully we were dressed, but what if that wasn’t the case? This is totally unacceptable and needs to be addressed in more thorough training. In addition, many of them were banging on doors and screaming “HOUSEKEEPING!!!” at 8AM so the ‘Do Not Disturb’ signs were pretty pointless for anyone else on that hall. Not a single day (unless asked unnecessarily and repeatedly) were our toilets cleaned, our counters wiped down, our room vacuumed - in 21 days. The bathroom vents looked like they hadn’t been cleaned out in 10 years - the picture doesn’t do it justice. And below is attached pictures of how our beds were “made” many days when we’d return to the room. Absolutely shocking! I really implore the management of Hilton to take 2024 as a year of investment in your housekeeping staff and TRAINING as this is NOT the Hilton Standard. Because of my husband’s job we are limited on hotel stays and may have to stay at this property again. I really hope that our feedback can not only be heard but put into action so that this isn’t our experience (or anyone else’s) again.
