High Roller
What people are saying
I personally don't like this ride for quite a few reasons that may surprise you. This comes from my most recent visit in early August. Ride layout: Out and Back in an L shape with several moments of airtime ranging from graceful to violent. There are no inversions on this ride. Smoothness: It isn't too rough in the middle few rows, but if you ride in the very back, you will feel like you're riding a jackhammer and not a roller coaster. This is the main reason why I hate this ride. Trains: a lap bar for individual riders and not for the entire row like you'd see on classic wooden coasters or more gentle rides. If they come down on you too tight, the lapbars can make your thighs hurt momentarily due to the design of the lapbars. They will come down naturally due to ride forces. Conclusion: try and get the front to middle seats if you want to avoid an excessively rough ride. The airtime can be felt evenly across the train, so don't worry about getting the very front or back. The only thing that can save this ride is if it got a full retrack or new trains.
Built in 1976, this Rollercoaster is a must-experience ride. In the "old days" you used to fly out of your seat and feel like you'd fall out--instilling true horror and excitement. More recently, the train pods have been remodeled to a safer, more secure design. You don't quite get the rush you used to, but it's still fun and is chalk full of history. Note: ride is a bit bumpy. If you have a back nack or neck, don't ride this. Also, if you have big hips, you may not be able to fit in the seats.
The line was short and the ride was nice but it shaked too much
As of July 19th, it's been running without the first trim brake, and has been running incredibly fast. It was giving airtime that was on par with Magnum XL-200 at Cedar Point. Otherwise, it's wildly mediocre.
Its a Very fun ride and amazing but much scarier when you find out some of the bolt could be loose okay I might get to ahead of my self but if I was an employee I would check the bolts every time the ride is coming
