Hertz! You can do better! Your staffs at Main Street college park location need basic training. If I could give this location zero I would. The customer service is horrible. The one that was supposed to be the manager was so rude and arrogant. Acting like we were pestering her with our inquiries. Sad how people are being employed and paid to make their clients and customers miserable for reaching out to them for help. I regret ever walking into this location. I’m keeping my Tesla but I will change my drop off location, I hope to find one that will be more cordial and receptive.

Cars were reserved for 3 weeks in a row and each week the car I reserved was never available! The cars they had were so filthy I had one detailed 3 separate times and I was still not comfortable being inside the car they all each one had issues. Their disclosure is beyond me when you think it’s okay to rent automobiles that have been trashed wrecked scratched dented and then advise no refunds for anything you the consumer has to have done to driver your paid customers/riders in. Hertz/Uber shame on you.

To each his own, my experience here was decent. BREANA was so patient, though I was indecisive & picky. She was an exceptional representation of great customer service. Given the bad reviews this location has I did went there not knowing what to expect. I’ll tell you this all those people who were behind the counter helping today exuded quality service. I did pay attention and I could not say anything bad about my experience. Hence, I’m taking the time to render to Caesar what’s due to Caesar. This may help someone. What you see on the Uber app, is different from the prices you’re told in person. (That isn’t a none the employees’ fault) online just needs an updated system to what’s happening in real time. A plus is…the refundable deposit you see on the app isn’t applicable to Uber drivers. You’ll pay approximately $400 total for a gas car, including insurance and it’s about an additional $42 dollars for an electric vehicle. (Honestly, given my experience with one, I won’t recommend. Their batteries die quickly & it’s a lot of downtime charging and I definitely spent more money charging an electric car than gas!) Yes, you’re unable to reach them by phone, they’re constantly dealing with people. I’ve watched first hand how hectic things can get in no time. So you may come and they’re no cars available. So you’re really risking it, irrespective of the fact that you have a reservation. That’s not their fault, I’d say… If they’re any complaints to be made it should be to HERTZ to better their information online to get accurate prices and things people NEED to know before leaving their house. The wait was a bit long but I felt it was still efficient. I’m satisfied and I would definitely rent here again!

The price that is advertised in your confirmation email and the price quoted on the website is NOT the price when customers arrive. Next, They pull you outside the door so no one can hear and they quote a much higher price. Next, they say they only have cars available at their expense price as opposed to your email confirmation. They Scam to have your spend money to drive there or pay for ride share there to their Hertz location. If you're DESPERATE you'll Bite. I Quickly Left!! As Consumers, we trust email confirmations and the prices on them. If we can't trust the Email Confirmations then...it's sketchy/shady. The lure lie is: "We have none of THOSE CARS AVAILABLE BUT......we have..." They lure people to their Location. Then lie.

Had a rental for 6 months, I gave it back in good condition, half a year later needed a another rental, and they treated me like trash. Called me 20 mins before my appointment to tell me they didn't have any rentals, but I was already coming there, so they put me on a waiting list. Long story short they made it admittedly clear that they only had two "uber X" cars. They literally waited until I reluctantly paid for this small compacted car just for them to immediately pull out a bigger more spacious "comfort car" glistening with water from being washed. I had no problem waiting for a comfort car, but what pissed me off is that they knew the comfort car was there because they were cleaning it, it wasn't like it just got there. Now im in this uncomfortable kia soul for a week, and i have to come out of pocket more money just to update to a comfort vehicle that i was RESERVED 5 days ago.
