I was told to pick any car in the aisle. Grabbed a Volvo. When it didn't start I asked the attendant who said it was electric. Never driven one, I said OK sure. This was one of the worst experiences with a vehicle. I will never, repeat, never get an EV ever again. Took this for a family trip up to Disney Orlando from Ft. Lauderdale. I was constantly looking for charging stations. Constantly needing a charge. Never a charger around when you need one. Close to being stranded on the road several times. Stressed out all the time for what should have been a fun Disney week. Waisted my valuable hours and hours waiting for this thing to charge all week at charging stations. I didn't go on vacation to endlessly sit at charging stations. Horrible experience. No EV ever again. There should be a giant disclaimer in Bold Letters for these.
We rented a car from FLL airport. I had to go over 4 cars in the parking lot to find a decent car. Unfortunatly, as soon as I left the parking lot, I started to hear a noise in the front end of the vehicule (and the car started to smell cigarette). We had a very long trip behind us so we decided to drive to the hotel a few miles away first to get some sleep. On the morning, I woke to a flat tire. I called Hertz and and was billed $112.68. The tire just needed some air. We eventually brought the vehicule back a day earlier as we did not felt confident to drive this vehicule anymore. I am president circle, I will match my status to another rental agency and will say good bye to Hertz Reply to Hertz answered: you are asking me to go to Facebook messenger to solve this problem... I think you can do better!
There is no customer service. There is nobody to talk to personally this is crazy everything through the computer. You cannot talk to nobody. I will never recommend hurts again.
05/07- The 2 🌟 is for Estevan, who helped me. When I went to Saim and Maria they were on their phones. They looked put out by me. Neither one looked up to help me, and when they did it was to tell me to go to the other line. I didn't get a chance to tell them I am a Gold member. Estevan was helping customers and he was friendly. The first thing he told me was that I was Gold, and could have gone to the side. I told him they were unprofessional. He said they were management. If Hertz is paying managers to sit and play on their phones then I want to make sure everyone knows what to expect when you rent from them. I came with a group who all booked with "E" and had a good experience. I'm a 30 day rental that won't use Hertz again.
Maps wrongly brought me to the 1st fl(via 818/perimeter Rd) no entrance. Stay on hiway, follow signs. Good but made it sound as if the lower insurance choice was included, No, lucky I caught it. Use your own, if applicable.
