The service was excellent, from the agent at the counter where I went to do the paper work, to the level where I collected the vehicle, even that final check before leaving. I must also say the agent who received the vehicle when it was been returned, he told me to take my time and make sure I got everything, he even ask me to hold a minute and he went through areas I didn't checking to make sure I didn't left anything, of course he handed me my sunglasses, which I almost left.... Excellent service.

I got a terrible car in Hertz location downtown. It was so bad, I felt unsafe to drive it over 30mpg. The staff in this location were extremely friendly and gave a great brand new car so I feel safe and comfortable during my 2.5 week rental. This location is in Marriott hotel and might not have that much selection though, so if selection is important, definitely check out their airport location.

Although the cars are subject to a rigorous maintenance plan, things still can get a little different than expected. The stereo in my car wasn't working and one of the lights on the dashboard was constantly flashing. I just drove back to Hertz after a couple of days and spoke to Karen in the front-desk at the presidential circle , she promptly and kindly help me find a different car, she did all the paperwork in no time and I was driving out of Hertz in less than 5 mins. Nobody is exempt to this sort of situations, cars can fail, but I think the ability of the company to immediately respond to such incidents is what makes a different. Karen handled the incident very well and I was happy driving another car in no time.

The experience was terrible. The representative who helped said they only available vehicles were $40 more per day than the vehicle I was able to book online as he was telling me there were no other vehicles available. Then he tried to deny the reservation until his manager told him it was fine. Then he opted not to waive an additional charge of $15 per day for a 2nd driver he had just said he would waive. He also stated there were no discounts available to Military or AAA members (surprise there are). When the vehicle was returned there was a charge for an extra day for the 2nd driver and a 3 hour prorated charge even though it was returned 2 hours and 3 minutes after the set return time. Customer service is just as great, all reps can't help but are sorry for the inconvenience and the response from the manager who gave a call back was "sorry, there is nothing I can do." Thoroughly disappointed, I will be doing business with Alamo or National in the future!

The check in kiosk was a little combersome but I can imagine when there's a line will be helpful. She assigned my car which was a nice Volkswagen... Clean and ready to go, no smells. Drop off is very smooth...automatic and fast
