The guy is nice, can't tell of he's lying to me or not about their inventory. Says that most of his vehicles are for Uber rentals, not sure what this means. I'm a Presidents Circle member and they had no cars the size I reserved, he said as a member I get a free upgrade to the next class, where they only had an electric vehicle. I walked into this place wanting anything but an electric vehicle. He said that's all he had and I would need to pay extra to go to the next class up for a bigger SUV. All I wanted was a gas car, which is what I paid for! He was not accommodating at all and the selection was horrendous. Do not go here.

I've been using Hertz to rent cars for a long time. I've spent a lot of money to these guys haha, but Hemet Hertz is at the top of the list. I know nearly everyone. To mention a few, Jake, Aerial, and Darius. I haven't seen Darius, but I did business with Jake and Aerial frequently while I was there. Jake is the ideal guy to run the store because he is meticulous and well-organized. He never forgets about you, even while he is busy. You only need to be patient, and he or Aerial will get to you quickly. These people are both professional and friendly. I appreciate how everyone can connect to my life because we are all in a same boat as a family man, and it's helpful to have people to talk to. I know that these guys aren't therapists, but they always make me feel welcome and kind. I believe that all businesses should have a personal environment, especially in this day and age where no one cares about anyone. I hope Hemet Hertz continued with success and thank you for hiring professionals such as Jake, Aerial, and Darius. Thank you for your years of excellent business. I will definitely recommend Hemet Hertz to anyone in need of a rental car. You guys are fantastic!

Took me 1 hour to get my car, even with a reservation, there was only one person working the front desk, with a lobby full of people. After finally processing my payment, I still needed to wait 20mins for them to find a car and clean it after I was already told the car was ready. While returning the car, the process was still pain staking long. Only one person working the desk. If you value your time I would rent from this place.

Horrible Experience. Reserved a car and got there and it was one hassle after. They dont tell you that you can use a debt/credit card. We left and went another agency were we booked and paid online. Was 1/2 the price and zero hassle. Go with another company, this one is behind the times.

We rented a SUV from Hertz which smelled strongly of cigarette. We had a long drive to and from in the SUV. We had looked into trying to change vehicles at another Hertz but had no luck. It was not a pleasant drive every time we got into the vehicle. All of us felt sick from the cigarette smell, one of us got a migraine from the cigarette smell in the SUV. I did let the person know when I returned the SUV but he said he couldn't smell anything. I know that was not true because there was no way he wouldn't have been able to smell the cigarette smell because it was way too obvious, why he didn't admit it, I didn't understand. Both people that I dealt with, picking up and returning the vehicle were polite but that doesn't help with the struggle of the horrid smell of the SUV smelling like cigarette the days we had it. We even bought an air freshener but of course, that did not help at all. We did receive a small discount for our next rental, IF we decide to go with Hertz again.
