I want to thank Alex for being super helpful on Thursday morning (6/6/24). I finished my conference early, but my reservation was in the afternoon. I’d like to pick up a car early (around 11AM). Alex was able to offer me a Subaru EV. I was out of door in 10 minutes. I complained about car rental companies a lot. But people can really make a difference. Good customer service matters!

Ok, so idk if managers changed on this location, or people who had 0 star experience are Karens or just unlucky, but as for March 2024 I had good experience at this location. Rented for one day with return at Airport, got Charger instead of economy car and been out of the office within 15 minutes cause of the line (4 people in front of me). Both managers are nice and never pushed to me any extras. Also got photos of all scratches and dings car had on my email from them when took the car and report even stated tank was 7/8, not full (which I missed and filled full tank upon return anyway). Anyway I guess no one just bothers/forgets posting good reviews and all car rental locations have +- the same rating.

Buyer beware! I rented a car from the Denver Airport to be dropped off at this location. I was given a car with only 3/4 tank of gas (that's the airport location's issue and I will be reviewing them accordingly), but was indicated as having a full tank. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until I drove away and had no recourse - I was in a rush so I let it go. Before dropping off this rental, I filled the gas tank, no more than a half mile from the drop-off. I dropped off the car and was told I was all set. Upon reviewing my receipt - I saw I was charged for 3 gallons of gas. Not only did I provide 1/4 tank more than I was given (I didn't want to deal with the headache of explaining the situation as I was late), but I got charged when the tank was full! I have now tried to contact Hertz for a week. No answer to my email inquiries and when I call it just disconnects the line. I am a President's circle member and this is not the service I'd expect. Feels like a deliberate scam.

Beware of renting a car with Hertz. My reservation which I had booked well in advance was for a Standard SUV at the weekly rate. Pick up went smoothly; however, I pointed out that the base rate which appeared on the form I was signing was higher than the one I had on my confirmation. The rep did not know why this was higher, and looking back, I wish I had pushed the issue further but I was under a time constraint. Upon return from my trip, I've written to customer service several times (no luck getting a live person on the phone), only to be told the type of car that we rented was not the same as the one we reserved. I rent cars often every year and never once have I ever been given a car I did not reserve at a higher rate. If that's all they have, they will tell me I'm getting an upgrade but the price will stay the same. The representative at Hertz never once told me that 1) I was getting a different class of car; and 2) that I was being charged more for it. I never would have agreed to the car if I had known and would have asked for a smaller or less expensive one at the rate I reserved. Compared to honest car rental companies I have had the pleasure of dealing with, this level of service is appalling and Hertz just lost my business as a future customer.

There were a lot of negative reviews so I was a but anxious about renting from this location. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved with our experience. Other than a bit of a wait (there were several customers renting at the same time), my experience was good. It did seem like there were several staff not doing anything but... The gentleman helping me was very nice, got me into my car quickly and we were on our way. If this location offers it, I'd go the check-in online process next time. The rates here are so much better than the airport and they "share" cars.
