I very satisfied with my rental. Strong recommend this location. Hours M-F 8-5p Sat 9-12p Location super convenient, Cystel City metro station and walk through the tunnel to Marriott Hotel. Hertz counter service just nearby the entrance. Very easy to find. And staffs are always there. Customer service representative; Rolando and Julian are very knowledgeable and extremely professional, also helpful and friendly. Car is clean and sanitized inside, but they don’t have car wash stations. I don’t mind outside. I booked my reservation via Expedia with mysterious car. They got me very nice car. I wish I rented it more day. Return the car was so fast and easy. I gave them another 2 thumbs up. I arrived at the counter service before 8am, staff was already there. So I can catch the early train.
Here for a reservation for pick up and have been waiting for 30+ minutes with no agent in site. Zero help from hertz in the matter. Do not I repeat do not book at this location. You will not get service, you will not get your car. Marriott is not blameless either they should be ashamed about having this company at their location with the lack of professionalism that they claim to have.
Very disappointed -- after being told that they would handle dispatching a car to pick me up, when the time came no one answered the phone. When I finally paid a Lyft to go there, the woman was nice but the system asked me to sign documents saying that I had received and agreed with the terms and conditions but I couldn't see them until I signed. This may have been due to the process being paid by my insurance company, but still inappropriate as they noted my credit card and it was my signature. And when I got the car, it was filthy on the outside, she just handed me the keys and left. I'm used to rental cars looking good when I pick them up, to jointly inspecting them to make sure there is no damage, etc. That said the car runs well, seems clean on the inside, and otherwise ok. But the whole thing just seemed much less professional and less good customer service than I am accustomed to from rental car companies.
I have a rental in progress and I have a flat tire. I put on the spare, but have called this location several times and other locations to arrange an exchange of my vehicle. Can someone contact me before I put myself at risk to drive around and find a replacement vehicle at the various Hertz locations in NoVA?
As a member of Hertz Presidents Circle, all I can say is….Avoid. Will take a booking and have no cars. They will leave you stranded or offer a car at DCA 2x the original cost. Jullian, the so called manager, was as much use chocolate fire guard. Would be better with a cardboard cutout… Before hertz replies and asked to “reach out”.. I already have. Go with SIXT at DCA, much better service. Hertz USA is absolutely shocking
