I wanted to commend the two outstanding employees we were assisted by when I was in desperate need of a vehicle. My car was in the process of being evaluated for damages and was in no way drivable. Mr. Derrick Kirk patiently walked me through the process of obtaining a rental. Ms. Tameka Waller was also a tremendous help suggesting alternative options when I ran into a problem. These two very outstanding and knowledgeable employees made a more than stressful situation very bearable. I can’t say enough about my experience with them! I was ready to settle for anything on four wheels that was available and returned the following day to get their last available vehicle. To say we were shocked going out to the parking lot and seeing that beautiful SUV just sitting there was an understatement! Of course I approved it and happily signed off on it. Another big plus was that the interior was immaculate, unlike one from another rental agency, I used years ago. I highly recommend Hertz Car Rental for your next car rental. The service is outstanding with friendly people and the custodian was a sweet gentleman who reminded me of my grandfather. I would like to express my gratitude to the Hertz team for their exceptional service to myself and my family. Mr. Derrick Kirk and Mrs. Tameka Waller went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. I would not like to disclose the name of the previous rental company, as their handling of our reservation was truly unacceptable. I had made a prior reservation for a SUV weeks in advance and had even confirmed its availability in person two weeks prior to our trip. However, upon arrival, I was informed that my reserved vehicle was unavailable and had been given away. The representative at the previous rental company offered a smaller vehicle that could not accommodate our party of seven. They did not provide any discounts or assistance in resolving the matter. Their only suggestion was to inquire with the neighboring rental company. The prices for SUVs at that company were prohibitively high and beyond our budget. After contacting various rental agencies, Hertz informed us that they had a suitable SUV available. We were able to secure a much better deal and were in and out of the rental facility in record time. We even received a larger SUV, which made our trip significantly more comfortable. I would like to remind everyone that even if unexpected setbacks occur, they may ultimately lead to positive outcomes. Hertz's outstanding service enabled us to travel to my daughter's All-State game in Florida without any stress or hassle. Thank you, Hertz, for contributing to a memorable and enjoyable experience. P.s. Mr Derrick! Banana pudding is better and your missing out without having them in your pudding! Have to get my momma to make you some to change your mind!

This is the most pathetic location ever!! They have no empathy nor regard. I understand policy is policy but when they were met with a sensitive situation instead of showing basic human care and compassion they were incredibly cold and hateful! Blugh! The lady that was working 04/04/2024 at 12 Pm was the most cold hearted person I’ve had to encounter in a while. They also use Travelocity to book their cars and are completely unaware of and not interested in that and act like it’s on the customer to figure it out if they booked third party. Because THATS NOT HOW IT WORKS! It’s the company’s job to share information to these sites to share with customers. I highly don’t recommend giving these people any business whatsoever. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Charged me 1500 for a rental for a week. Never going back. Then say they don’t know what the charges were for. No stars if I could. Updated… Two weeks later and the charges still pending.

Coliseum Blvd Hertz, not only lied about being able to review cameras at their location but added over $400 worth of charges to my invoice. I rented the car for “TWO DAYS” and the daily rental was $60 per day plus tax, which gave me a total of $127.97. I even overlooked that fact that it was filthy inside and the right back tire was on a flat. If I wouldn’t have said anything to the representative at that branch they would’ve allowed me to drive away with it on flat. I reached out numerous of times via email, phone, and voicemail to a man that reached out to me first named Ronald J. Dorf (Vehicle Control Dept). and no response yet. I called the customer service line since the representatives in that Alexandria La location couldn’t help me! I was informed by this customer service representative that every Hertz location had an option to review cameras at any time! I don’t like how I was treated, cheated, lied to and dismissed as if I didn’t matter or my business. Unfortunately, it’s no longer about the money just the principle! This is my first review that I have ever left on any business but I had to be honest about how this company is being represented!
