ZERO STARS - this place is a piece of work; staffers don't understand "customer service"; (1) this place doesn't have President's Circle, where you go directly to your vehicle. Instead you're directed back to a booth to show all your ID's and go through the paperwork drill which was suppose to be eliminated by being in their program; its not working. (2) I got a filthy car, inside and out. I assume they take the vehicle and immediately reuse it for the next customer, especially the EVs. (3) New to renting an EV, I had to go back to the booth to question the range of 270 miles as being full, my answer was it sounds like it. Great answer junior! (4) Don't get an EV!!! Beware of your travels as you'll spend unwanted time or needless time recharging; if you can't overnight charge at you hotel, you'll need to find a fast charger which still takes 60+ minutes and the rates are more costly than a tank of gas. I will not use an EV again. (5) My rate was for 2 days and 2 hours; the daily rate was $84 and the hourly rate was $28.56!!!; the 4 hours cost more than a daily rate; so I had to go back and get 3 days and no extra hours. Which was fine, but had to be done at the airport location cause Hertz's plays hide and seek with their customer service number - and you never can talk to an agent. But doing this gave me a few more hours driving before turning it in early as we used the hotel airport shuttle; why - cause our flight was early the next morning before the Hertz site opened, and no they didn't have an overnight drop box. (6) After this horrible experience which is comparable to FOX, I'll be going back to Avis or Budget. What a nightmare...

I did reservations the car rental at Albany airport . I order Nissan Rogue. But when I pick up the car they give me Toyota Corolla Cross . I did ask for the bigger car but they they have none . I have no choice because I ‘m travel from California to Albany for my Son Graduation. But when I returned the car I did fill up the gasoline, but the gas meter don’t move . I think may be I didn’t fill up full enough . So I filled up second time but the same problem the gas meter don’t moved . So when I return the car , I told the girl I did fill up the gasoline but the gas meter don’t move I showed her the two receipt , and she said don’t worried you are good to go. Then I received an email for my rental car receipt. They charge $18.86 for filled up the gasoline. So I ‘m not recommend for my friends or any ones to do a car rental from Hertz .

Wouldn’t recommend unless they can resolve the problem I had. I received an unsafe vehicle and have heard no response from Hertz after complaining. Customer service was minimal. It’s a far walk to Hertz in from baggage, I’ll save the my steps next time.

Hertz has the worst customer support. Had to use a new credit card when checking in at airport and even though I had a confirmed reservation that was CHARGED, Hertz refused the rental AND refused to reimburse the charge. Had to go thru credit card company for reimbursement. Went to Enterprise next door and happily drove off.

I booked a 12 passenger van and it has bad odor inside. I requested them for another vehicle and the person at the counter checked the vehicle and tells me that it’s the cleaning solution smell. When I asked them, why you don’t have similar odor in other vehicles if it’s cleaning solution, he just ignore me and wanted me to switch to minivan instead. I thought they were doing free change of vehicle but he told me it costs me extra 35$ for this upgrade or they can cancel my rental. As a gold plus member I never received such kind of service in any other airport locations or local hertz locations. Worst service at the counter and when I mentioned that I am going to write a review regarding this service, he didn’t even care about it.
