Reserved a car, but when I arrived they had no cars available. I'm a travelling firefighter, and this isn't an abnormal situation. What is abnormal is having a Hertz employee lecture me, explaining that If I'd like a vehicle, I should have reserved weeks in advance. (Obviously we don't know where a wildfire is going to be weeks in advance) - And then a couple weeks later I find out that the local office didn't cancel my reservation and charged my card for it. 0/10 would not recommend.

The office was closed even though they were supposed to be opened. They share office space with a Ford dealership, and when a Ford employee saw me looking for Hertz, he laughed and said “They’re hit or miss.” This exact scenario happened to me in Montgomery, Alabama as well. I guess it’s just Hertz policy for employees to get paid to not work?

Rented a car online a few months ago. Was double charged for extra days I didn't do. No one would help either in branch or online/phone. They denied my dispute with my card although they admit they messed up but still haven't credited 3 months later! Almost $500!! Never again!

We couldn't have asked for more. My son made reservations for a car at Enterprise in Alamogordo via internet on Sunday May 26th for today Tuesday May 28th at 8am. We arrived and were told while they had his reservation they had no cars available and weren't sure when they would get one in... We rushed over to Hertz and explained that my son needed to get a car right away. Both his kids were running high fevers at home in Houston and he needed to get there asap. I appologize I didn't get the woman's name but she had us in and out easily within an hour and he was on his way. Way to go Hertz. You truly are the best!!!

I reserved a car on the Hertz app and an hour before I was scheduled to pick up I received a text message telling me they could not honor my reservation because they didn’t have cars. I was truly inconvenienced and I expected better from Hertz. Does their app not get updated with what cars are available at each location?? When I called the local number they gave me on the text message it just sent me to an automated message telling me I can cancel/modify/make a reservation on the app then it hung up. Pointless call.
