Best brats I've ever had! There are some unique options, but my favorite is still the jalapeno, bacon, cheddar. Take time to browse the store, there are a lot of cool things offered at Helman's.... like tur-duck-en! Helman's service is top-notch, staff is very knowledgeable, and it is always a pleasure to shop here! If you call ahead they will put your order together before you arrive. Last I was there, they charged extra to pay with credit card so sometimes it pays to use cash instead.

So glad I stopped. Always saw folks coming and going so I figured it would be a "Find". And it certainly was! Full scale meat market/deli. When you walk in you can just smell the seasonings. Everything from Brats of many flavors, steaks cut the way you want, deli sandwiches and sides to soups. The options are immense. I ordered a ruben with macaroni salad and baked beans. Very yummy. Cold drinks are available too. Brought home some goodies to try also, smoked salmon dip, and chicken salad. Next visit we're going for Brats and ribs. Looks like Fridays are their bbq and smoked hot meal day. Can't wait!

We love Helmans! Their meat is fantastic and sides are delicious too! We love the staff and their wonderful customer service and attention to detail. Our places of work enjoy ordering lunch here. You always know its going to be yummy! It's truly a hidden gem in Alma!!

My parents have gotten their meat from Helman's Market since I was a kid in the 60s. Friendly and helpful doesn't begin to describe how we have been treated by the staff! When I'm in Alma visiting, it is the #1 place to go for meat (and I hear their lunch sandwiches are awesome).Thank you for remaining a choice business on Main Street for all these years!
