Got the #11 chicken sandwich, and a hamburger meal. The chicken sandwich was barely edible, it was pretty nasty. Tasted like it had been sitting in grease. My wife ate maybe half of it, we were pretty hungry, lol. Service was SLOW. We were the only dine in customers, and the drive through was not very busy at all. Probably took at least 20 minutes to get our food. It was in the middle of the afternoon, pretty slow time. There appeared to only be two people working. We're usually pretty satisfied with Hardee's. But this was terrible for $21.
Put in my order at 6:10 am at the drive thru, paid and was asked to pull forward being told it would be another 3 minutes. Didn't get my food until 6:35 and the biscuits were dark brown and crunchy. Hash brown medallions were somehow undercooked as well, but at least weren't cold. This is a very consistent experience for me at this location: wait times that rival what you would have in a sit down restaurant and food that is unreliably fresh/cooked.
The food and customer service was amazing! The staff was very friendly and very pleasant! The food was extremely fresh. I do not live in Athens and took a gamble on which Hardee's to go to, and I made the right choice! Keep doing what you are doing. Good service is extremely hard to find these days and you're doing it right!😊👍

Breakfast is good when you get it. My issue is Google clearly says "opens at 6:00". I have been to this location when I get off work in the morning. I either see a store with no lights on and no one answers the call box (even though you clearly see workers inside) or you are greeted like I was this morning at 6:00 that says "I'm not open yet". If your hours clearly state 6:00 am, it should be that specific time. If you have a problem opening on time, maybe you should get new employees.
