What a great grocery store. Very clean and nice wide aisles. Very well stocked. Lots of employees about picking online orders, restocking and straightening up. Excellent deli with lots of precut meats ready to go. Only in town for 5 days, staying at local campground. I was very impressed. Wish it was my local grocer.

Everytime I come here to get lunch for my work day there's never anything in the cold box hardly I've came here everyday in a week an seen it like this or more empty. There's people back there all the time like I don't get what they are doing all day for this to be empty like this all the time. There's more then one person too unfortunately ill be taking my business elsewhere to work lunches

Large store with big selection of item's. Has bakery, butcher, fish monger, and pharmacy too. Helpful staff and fair prices

Dumpster fire of a grocery chain. Rude workers and management, unclean bathrooms, long lines to get out, over priced everything. The Essex store is the only Hannaford I would recommend, although I would just recommend not being in VT to begin with.

Really fresh produce and there’s numerous options that are plastic free. We especially loved the strawberries in the wooden box (and they were so sweet!!). I wish they carried the local milk in the returnable glass bottles and had more bulk options. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
