If you never had anything from the bakery, it's worth a try. The best cream frosting on their cakes is delicious. Love the cannoli and going to try the strawberry shortcake.

Love this grocery store chain. Even though we are only passing through Maine, we made it a point to get sign up for their reward club. Very clean store. The produce is varied and fresh. The staff is off the chart friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this store. It is the ONE grocery store we shop at when we are in this area.

Got there early, in and out. Had a lot of meat and couldn't go right home so bought ice. No cooler. Staff helped get all the foods that needed to be kept cool in one bag. Asked if I wanted the meat in plastic bags to avoid leaking. It's the little things like that the customers appreciate. Thank you.

I’ve seen better but surely seen worse Hannafords. My only complaint is that they’re in the process of re-arranging their store constantly! I am forever roaming the isles trying to find where things are. Maybe it’s just me, but it doesn’t feel like the isles are laid out in the most logical fashion, but don’t ask me what the most logical fashion is lol. It always just seems off. The workers are always friendly, busy, and the store is always clean. Mornings offer a less crowded shopping experience.

The prices on a lot of things are a little high compared to other stores like Walmart. Their selection of organic and plant-based options has been shrinking lately instead of increasing. I used to always get liquid Just Egg (plant-based) for years there, and now they don't carry it. They have the four pack of frozen squares, but you can not do much with that. Their self checkout kiosks are not the greatest, and if you have to use two payment methods or go over a preset amount, you need to go to an actual cashier. Their prices on organic produce are very high.
